  • What is it with this jealous thing. why should one be jealous of her, she sang the NA and she did it well, and i believe the Nigerians were privileged to have her sing it. I really dont like some of the comments here.

  • beyonce is part nigerian?

  • @angelbabydaqueen1 for petes sake!! NO! most african americans are originally from Nigeria!

  • @BinnyJinny, not to bring stuff up from the past, but stop being an ignorant racist twat. Insulting people for their skin color and religion is just fucking stupid, and will only lead to wars. You think you're a fucking god because you're an American, which as demonstrated numerous times is the one of most hypocritical and stupid countries around today. Instead of trying to destroy this stereotype you've only help set it in concrete.

  • lovely

  • i love nigeria

  • This rendition of the Nigerian anthem by Beyonce will make whoever wrote the anthem proud.

  • our anthem is so beutiful. PEACE AND UNITY

  • wow!! speechless!!

  • @evagarcia16 and do u know how many are trafficked in ur own country???

  • very pretty :)

  • ohh..i keep pressing 'replay'...seriously, no matter how good my favorite songs are, i have never been that much into them and keep replaying.

  • Tiwa Savage sang it wAYYYY BETTER

  • Beyonce is the only star who embarrasses culture in that manner from since dc. She goes all out from national anthem to the attire and that makes me so proud. You can also check them out on youtube hence the reason she is so respected.. I hope to visit Nigeria some day. May God continue to bless beyonce in ways she will never expect.

  • @renece100 and I'm pretty sure you mean "embraces"? lol before you go around calling people foolish make sure you know how to spell...

  • @pajamagirl123 just proved how foolish you are I have no incorrect spelling but a choice of word typed accidentally "embarrasses". Sorry ass you need help for being so negative bitch. Furthermore you-tube is not a spelling and grammar exam.

  • @SuperQueenofAfrica seriously. When I moved here in the 3rd grade so many kids asked me if I walked around naked or lived in a mud hut. I still get asked ignorant questions today. But I guess in a way I feel bad for the people that truly have no idea what Nigeria is really like, and their only method of cultural enrichment is the travel channel. Its actually really sad.

  • Very Beautiful family. We are united through our music.

  • she is so amazing i love her <3

  • North South East West Home is Best! No matter what anyone says Proudly Nigerian

  • NIGERANS ARE VERY PROUD AND THEY SHOULD BE BECAUSE THEY WORK HARD FOR WHAT THEY WANT. THIS IS COMING FROM A JAMAICAN. I GIVE YOU GUYS THAT. MORE PEOPLE SHOULD BE LIKE YALL

  • I'm not a fan of Beyonce, but she did Justice to the anrthem. Sounds very soul ful

  • I love the Nigerian National Anthem. Its so EPIC :D

  • listening to her sing gave me chills.<3 Nigeria

  • Her bleached yellow ass is NOT Nigerian lmao probably for that night, and then her ancestors are from Kenya the next night lol i still love her though

  • @pajamagirl123

Most African Americans have ancestory in West Africa. In particular, from modern day countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Senegal, Togo, Benin and Ivory Coast and also from South Central Africa regions as Congo and Angola. Hardly any of us cam from Kenya.

  • @AGLegend01 lol that was sarcasm. meaning her ancestors are from every country she happens to visit haha it was a JOKE!

  • Comment removed

  • @parchh ok first off, calm down. it's not that serious. second of all whose ass did you pull that little nugget of shit from?? If that were true then you would think it would be common knowledge right? Everyone knows she's French Creole on her Mom's side, yet this is the first I've ever heard of her being half Nigerian...interesting

  • Comment removed

  • @parchh Creole is not a race. It has to do with culture. Creole are americans with a french flavour, yes like almost all AA she has euro heritageand in her case that euro heritage is French. But that was generations ago. Kelly Rowland comes from Lousiana as well, so she she's likely partially Creole as well...

  • @Giagantus Kelly Rowland is from Atlanta, GA.

  • @pajamagirl123 no i dont think so, but her husband traced dna to northern nigeria where he took her , he is always in nigeria though i saw a vid where he said he didnt know anything untill he started to travel because they dont teach them anything about africa in their schools , all they know is what is seen on NATIONAL GEOGRAHPHIC.. most ameircans think we walk around with bones in our noses and dont have indoor plumbing .. its what the media tells them to think that they think.

  • @pajamagirl123 you must be a jack ass. didn't you know that all blacks have african ancestors no matter where you are in the world? you just prove how uneducated you are and you don't deserve an opinion. sad. make that foolish statement to your friends not on youtube, idiot.

  • @renece100 what are you talking about? where in any of my comments did I say that Beyonce has no African ancestors?

  • @pajamagirl123 she wasn't talking about Nigeria, she was talking about africa in general.

  • Why does it sound like they were booing my girl?

  • That was just amazing, really inspirational, makes me so proud to be a Nigerian!!

  • @ghanakid185 ikr im right with u becuz their are a bunch of africans in a lot of states and if u don't want me to joint on u haters than i advice u too shutup.. oh and @ghanakid185 im right with ya all the way even tho im a girl :')

  • I'm not a Niger boy but I'm African and how proud I am to be. I couldn't imagingine being from any where but from the greatest continent there is. True we have our bads but the good out stretches the bad miles with no competion. AFRICA yes I am proud

  • u foolish haters should shut up and let the girl sing DAMN!!!

  • @blessedchild2 and @perfectmoses you have anything aganist africans? Im an africa and if u rlly love jesus u will respect us and there are lots of crimes burgurlers child milsters and junk out there and if u have something aganist us africans than u have something agnaist beyonce because beyonce is ibo so i advice u to bequiet because u dont nothing about nigeria becuz there is not that much crime here and if this world was rlly perfect there would be too much people in this world right now.

  • Nyc one, Bee! I think wen she said her ancestors were frm here, she meant Africa, nt necessarily Nigeria!

  • It is an offend against the Nigerian state! this girl cannot sing and only she

want to present her alonefor herself. axel from Germany

  • @ikddihnnh hater go sumwere and ummm diee???

  • @ikddihnnh NIGERIA is not a STATE...it's a COUNTRY....

  • Jeez! Wat is all this hating?! The girl was just feeling her African roots and decided to sing us our national anthem. Is it a bad thing? Na wa for una o. Just appreciate and say thank you, Beyonce, for making the effort. She could have easily turned up her nose and left after doing her own songs. What is all this slavery talk and Nigeria-bashing?! Whether u'r Nigerian or not, what gives you the right to insult an entire nation? What do u know?

  • @BinnyJinny i am not going to insult you man no point in that. Maybe something bad happened to you in Nigeria or something like that , i moved to Uk and i still love Nigeria like mad it is a great country. You have my condolences if something bad happened to you there but Nigeria is an amazing country, please don't insult it in front of people who love it

    Thank you.

  • STFU @teewoods

  • @evagarcia16 .....And the story of slave trade is the same everywhere slaves were taken, some bought some captured, selling of slaves was not peculiar to Nigeria alone...dont forget that both the buyers and the sellers are the same in the evil...its clear to me why everybody talks about Nigerians, we are more than 140million, so bad people are in millions and good people are in millions..

  • @perfectmoses -That is colonial propaganda. They don't tell of the African who fought against the slave capturers.

This is the whitewashed view of history to make whites feel good.

  • @evagarcia16 ...if u read my comment carefully u will understand that i wasn't comparing Nigeria to US, my point is every people have their bad sides and their good sides..and US is not an exception. so folks should stop labeling Nigeria as a totally bad people...there are countless native Nigerians in US making name for US in areas of entertainment, sports, academics,etc..so we are all not so bad after all.

  • this is totally awesome

  • ياتكرونيه طلعتي على حقيقتك

  • @binny you know what, u are just a big fool

  • @DarkErRor97 At least I'm not in Africa.

  • I doubt Beyonce's ancestors were from WEST Africa. West Africans have such thick, full features and Beyonce....does not. If she meant Africa itself, then that's understandable but why is she claiming Nigeria....she's from HOUSTON and is a ghetto sounding country girl NOT a weird African.....

  • @BinnyJinny

why are you calling africans stupid! take your racist mind outta here !!!!

  • @julia815645219

I don´t think that BinnyJinny is a racist. He just doubts that she is Nigerian.

She looks a bit different then the average nigerian woman, coz her mother is not black.

    Peace

  • @julia815645219 Because they are.

  • @BinnyJinny R U KIDDING ME! y u so racist anyway!!! what's wrong nigeria ??

  • @julia815645219 The people smell and are unattractive as hell, and their the music is crap. Plus they scam the hell out of people.

  • @BinnyJinny

No they're not! i have many friends who are from nigeria and theys are the nicest ppl you'll evert meet. Maybe you should start respecting other countries except your own, espesially if you're actually from nigeria.

Gosh i have never met anyone racist against their own ancestors, that's just wrong!

  • @julia815645219 I respect other countries, just not Nigeria (and the continent of Africa, and anywhere where there are Muslims).

And my ancestors are dead, so i don't care for them much.

  • @BinnyJinny

what's so wrong about muslims now!

  • @julia815645219 Really? I need to tell you that?

    Take a wild guess.

  • @BinnyJinny ....u must be as ugly as what u keep writing here, u sound so ignorant, use ur real name so ur friends will know what kind of a mess they are rolling with..the only bad people we have in Nigeria are idiots who got inspired by idiots like u in America.

  • Comment removed

  • @BinnyJinny ...u must be as ugly as what u keep writing here..u sound so silly and ignorant, use ur real name here so ur friends will know what kind of a mess they are rolling with....the only bad people we have in Nigeria are the idiots that are getting inspiration from idiots like u in America.

  • @perfectmoses Defend that useless nigger country to the end, lol, it means nothing to me.

  • @BinnyJinny some of folks talk as if America is the best country in the world whereas its one of the worst..i mean what can be more terrible than slavery and all the terrible things blacks suffered it the hands of Americans?..........i cant think of any evil that have not been or is not found in America.

  • @perfectmoses I'm not even praising America, it has it's own share of nonsense, but it's more desirable than the unstable, third-world conditions of 80% of the African continent. What ever evils you may have found in the States, I'd put up with them over living in such a disgraceful continent such as Africa. I'd never set foot in such places like the Congo, which i consider the Rape Capital of the World. And there were Africans who sold out there own to European slave traders just so you know....

  • @BinnyJinny that's okay now bruh. chill out..
