Please tell me where did you buy this sheet music, how much did it cost and what level is it? Medium? Thank you for possibly answer:) Have a great day:)
@nlcortana It's not variable, but it would be really good if it was. There are occasions where I play a chord in the left hand, and only the bottom-most note is located left of the split.
@paulwwells You're right, I didn't think about that aspect. Well thanks anyway for the video, the way you arranged the left hand is very insightful for someone like me who's just starting out.
I like this. One reason is that even though it's on the keyboard or the electric piano, you still give a lot of expression and passion to what you are playing. The quality is quite good as well. I love your bass lines and its amazing that you can play what a band plays on your own!
Ha! Thats great, now I'm going to be playing that in my head for the next few days.
Thats the difference between a studio production and yours, youve seperated it out so we can "feel" & "visulise" it. Keep at it Paul, have you done MASH yet?
@throthelens Thanks - that is the effect that I always hope to get, to bring out some of the parts that are not so obvious in the original. Yes, MASH is up there.
I have watched your videos many times and I've tried to understand what makes your versions of the songs you play so much more appealing to listen to than the others. I can't really put it into words. When you play these songs that are normally played by a full band, it's as if the other instruments are still there. Your basslines are awesome and groovin, your voicings are perfect and full and warm, and everything sounds just as good or better than the original. Truely talented! God Bless!!!
@pianomike777 You are very kind. I don't know why more bedroom keyboard players don't give matching prominence to the bass line as the original track. I can understand live keyboard players keeping out of the way of the bass player. For older songs the sound recording quality of the day was a limiting factor. I just try to do the best I can. Thanks again for your comment.
@lookatdoor I normally let two errors go before abandoning the take if they're not 'howlers'. If I worked at zero tolerance I'd have to stick to safer arrangements and make fewer videos.
Great as usual. I wish my left hand could do what you do - lots of talent to keep it going. The only way you could improve it would be to pump up the bass! More please!

How do you do the variable split level. Left hand is always bass even if you play in the piano area and vice versa.
