Beautiful interview, I hope to God he wins the Republican nomination for governor next year. And he's totally right-on on both his interview, and his website about high taxes are very seriously hurting Illinois' economy? Do we really need our state economy to be just about as bad as Ohio or Michigan?
I'm an independent who will now vote for Proft, b/c of this interview, and checking out his site. I urge all independents, Dems, and Repubs to vote in the Repub primary for him as well!
Why can't Illinois elect a governor like this? Why the constant parade of political hacks sprung from backroom deals? Who can't even come close to this guys level of issue/message articulation.

Good job, Dan. It's time for real reform, real tax cuts and real growth of our economy in Illinois.
When it comes to hearing the voice of the people, the Republican establishment in IL is completely tone deaf.
