Do they think God/Jesus is impressed with this fight? Do they think that God/Jesus is in favor of CHEAP molded plastic IDOLS of them, they want you to worship THEM, not a bunch of tacky plastic figures.One guy interviewed said if they take it down his kids will ONLY know of Santa and not the TRUE story...is he going up there to teach them & not mentioning a word of Christ at home? The courthouse isn't a religious learning center..teach it at home and in the religious buildings that are UNTAXED

I live in Athens and this has become ridiculous...these nutters are gathering around it and praying...LAW IS LAW...the county expects US to obey the law yet aren't willing to do so themselves....furthermore the attitude of these people is NOTHING close to Christian, hateful, more so than the people who want it down, death threats, the works....

I asked her if I could take photos of the signs. She said no.  She also told me that her boss--the county clerk--will be interested to know about my concerns. :O

I have confronted a similar case in my hometown of Roswell, NM. One day while going to the county administrative offices to check on some paperwork, I spotted two signs during the holiday season posted right there in plain view at the County Clerk's office! They read, "God bless America" and "Believe." "Believe in what?" I asked. The clerk asked me, "Don't you believe in God?" I told her it didn't matter what I believed. The state attorney general's office and the ACLU weren't any help!
