Too much work for bulb replacemet, I a have a golf3 and in 12 years has never need replacement but I can remove them in like 35 secs. My friend needs this tutorial realy good step by step by the way. Nice vid.
GOD I was thinking of buying modus 2007 with only 35000km on it but and good price but when i saw this I am thinking about it...damn the whole thing sounds complex....
@ilijesiilinisi Hi , don't be put off , my bulbs lasted for 6 years and hopefully won't need to be changed for many years to come. Its should not be this difficult, but thats down to the design of the car. Most other service parts are easily accessible.
@dofbeer Thanks for your comment. I only needed to replace one bulb, but because of the effort/time involved I replaced all but the indicator bulbs, as you can access these without removing the bumper. Good luck .
That job wasn't difficult at all, took all of 45 minutes for a first time newbie. Did snap all 6 bolts underneath (oops) but once everything was back together it seems pretty secure. This video saved me a wallet robbing £210 PLUS VAT so once again thanks for taking time to post! Beers on me...
This video helped me save £150. It took me 3 hours to do it but it worked. The bolt by the wheel arch is the hardest to locate for a first timer, I undone 2 different bolts and wasted 30 mins. I would do it again and take some photos to help fellow modus owners too.
@d5cyu Thanks for the comment. Renault know how to make a simple job difficult. Luckily my bulbs lasted for 6 years, so I hope that will do me until 2016 !!
Hi Mike , I agree I recently removed the bumper to check out my ac and the second time around it was a lot easier.

Well done. I tried but was not able to get to the back of the headlight without removing the bumper. Guess my hands are too large !!
