  • bob chaproniere is my great uncle :')

  • they should have nunchuks and kendo sticks in vale tudo

  • @hazelenoch They do! They call themselves the Dog Brothers> Do a search on google.

  • i wonder how many times the ref got hit

  • man so much pain!!!

  • i never knew luke skywalker can wield the nunchuck.

  • luke skywalker there.

  • Every nunchak fight i see is a fuking joke. I would pick nunchaks as a wepone only if there would be no other good weps.

  • no skill at all. just grown men hitting each other angrily with sticks....

  • i think the chucks need to do more dmg, they take blows to the head and body like they're nothing. heavier, harder chucks.

  • i think the chucks need to do more dmg, they take blows to the head and body like they're nothing.

  • They are made from garden hose.

I wanna see this same fight with Wood Octagons.

I don't think it would have lasted this long.... Booo!!!!

  • take the sissy helmets off. take the blows like men

  • Foam with hard core

    Sensei Bob

  • Are they practise weapons or wood ?

  • i just love those helmets.. does anyone know what kind those are, and how can i get one???

  • Well, handbag-looking fight or not, these guys have some real guts. I've competed in Eskrima, and, believe me- This stuff hurts.

(...The ref is taking risks, too, actually- Props, bro.)

  • I hate those idiot guys who come on youtube and say "oh ufc is the only real fighting" I compete in pro MMA and its not real fighting its a sport...like boxing or College wrestling. Theres no need to argue about what style is best or what is true fighting in this day in age the Rifle is king its that simple and as a man who has no interest in firearms it pains me to say it but when it comes to "real fighting" it dosnt matter how talented you at the arts its take no talent to pull a trigger

  • "in this day in age the Rifle is king"

But if you swing Nunchaku in a circle fast enough it can form an impenetrable force field!

  • @fireangel32 No thats impossible. You watch to much Dragon tiger gate.

  • Lmao... at least someone got the reference, if not the sarcasm.

  • hahahaha.. tonight on the evening news, man died trying to deflect bullets with nunchaku's.

  • lmfao!

  • is it just me...or does nunchaku fighting look stupid

  • neah...i believe the same... it looks stupid bro

  • @KrackDealinNinja

I didn't know real fights were supposed to be elegant.

  • well...UFC fights look like...vicious...like they actually look like they're actually doing damage....this is like...let's hop in a ring and swing away at each other randomly...there's no form or skill or anything....it's just two kids banging away at each other

  • first, those are practice nunchaku that they are using. Second, these people really aren't that good. So yes, in the hands of a novice, these things don't look very decent to use.

  • No, it's not just you..it looks like two girls fighting with their handbags.. ( :

  • @mijbil9 love the coment bro!

  • Dayum that must wreck if u catch it on ure fingers! I didnt used to see how nunchucks could be used in a real fight coz everything i seen was showboating stuff. This is craziness... and i love it :D

  • Shaolin Society Bournemouth has a nunchaku tournament fight on You Tube!

    They allow kicks and punches.

No grappling. Better than WNA rules. IMO

  • I was in the first Internatonals in paris and was beat with there so called rules. They are so big because there government surports them.

I also put my champion Peter Webb in the first european champinships against Pascel, also there was a big money prize at stake for the winner and second place. So we had a French champion, a French referee, and French juges, and Pascel was talking to the juges be twine rounds and yes thay won by 1 point, I have it all on video. So no more WNA for us.

    Bob

  • BTW, I forgot to ask, what has changed since 1985 ?

  • Both fighter trained apart for six months, there was a lot of slashy moves which i dident like to much myself all i can say is that night the adrenalin was running high, funny thing is i know both fighters are expert blockers. We've defeated every club or champion thats crossed our path in the uk. Since then we've inproved a lot more with special blocking techniques which now are very hard to penetrate, plus we have new deception attacks & counter attacks.

    Sensei McCormack

  • That's still gotta hurt a bit! No disrespect intended Sensie McCormack . Actualy I think I could get into the way you guys did it back then! The new WNA rules makes for interesting sport, but I dont like constraing rules. BTW, Those guys swing hard!

    Dog Tom.

  • hi, I dont no your name, it;s now 2009 not 1985 maybe you should come to our club and show us all how its done.

    Sensei McCormack

  • I am an expert nunchaku fighter and I can assure you, just from the sound that they are using foam nunchaku. No kicks and no punches allowed. Pretty dead sport in my opinion. No dynamics involved. Basicly a glorified pillow fight!

  • Pure Tripe.

  • Could the one who posted the video explain what the construction of the nunchaku was?

  • Yes thay were made of hose pipe with a nylon coller attached at the ends strung with nylon cord then run tape down one side of the hose to get rid of the bend, then they are coverd in foam tubeing and lastly covers were made to fit. and they are very strong great for training with.

    Sensei McCormack

  • Wow i never fights with nunchucks existed!

  • Interesting. It'd be cool, in the event of a dis-arm, the unarmed person would have to use karate for 10 seconds before being allowed to re-arm.

  • very nice kumite, they are using wood nunchaku or foam? Is that you as a referee, right?

  • I definately wouldnt say its wood.. getting hit that many times in such a short time on the arm with a wooden nunchaku would stop use of an arm quick.. or break the arm..
