I had to add this to my favorites! I just started high school and chose Latin as my language, and it's my favorite class, which says a lot. I've been dying to see this movie as well. Aliquam!

When I heard about this scene, I had to see it. However, your translations aren't entirely direct. My translations:

"In wine, the truth" (Your parenthesized implication is correct)

"Do what you do" (Indeed, your implication is correct)

"Let the Jew Apella believe it, not I" (This basically means "tell it to someone else, not me")

"Youth is the teacher of fools" (Ringo is saying that Doc is young and foolish.)

"Rest in peace" (That's as direct as it gets :P)

@kcrazy58 yea this scene is badass enough as it is but you can appreciate it more when you understand the jabs theyre taking at each other
