You know what really sucks? HW tessellation probably won't really take off until the next generation of consoles drop in 3-4 years from now. Until then, we're stuck with essentially a slew of Direct3D 9.0c console ports with the odd DX11 graphical bone thrown us, and maybe the odd PC-only genuinely innovative title built from the ground up. Oh well, as long as the writing, voice-acting, animation, gameplay etc. all keep improving in games, I can put up with them looking a little dated.

@r34perpwnz My friend and I built a good $600 rig with a GTX 560 Ti in it and of course 3D Mark 11 was going to rape it at some points, but it was still viewable and it was very good for a GTX 560 Ti, and besides it ran Heaven just fine averaging about 59 FPS.

@mayituck I don't think you understand what consoles are for. It's cheaper to buy an xbox 360 for playing games with good graphics (not as good as in the video of course). A console is made for just one thing and that is to play games, mostly. A PC is made to do more than just gaming and that's why it's more expensive. You also need to take the graphic cards and the processors you probably need to buy into account. That's why it is more reasonable to buy a console.
