For those of you who don't know: The reason there was a third film is because in the scene where Arnold fights the T-1000 his arm gets caught in the giant gear and gets torn off. My guess is someone found it and than started tinkering with it and the war still went on CUZ of that arm. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? :P

At the end of this movie they destroy the Terminator arm,the chip and the T-800 in order to destroy all evidence they ever existed. But they forget to the remove the T-800's arm that was ripped off in the machine a few scenes earlier. Leaving that arm in the machine leaves evidence that they existed....
