@MAPIAKALLAS Alternatively, it is WAY too long. In the score, it is a sixteenth note, with Poco Allarg. written over it. If we are going to perform an opera by a composer, we should at least play that opera acording to the composer's directions, and not the fantasies of some singer. Does the singer have a better idea of the structure, and what will fit, than the master himself? The answer is a resounding NO.
