I have tons of bats that regularly come to my house near twilight. Pretty sure they just find a spot underneath the ridge flashing, and hang out there. One spot that seems to be unprotected is the ridge flashing over a walk out porch...Had a bat find his/her way back to the same place two years in a row. Last year, I shot it (pellet, .177, hollow-point). Just saw about 35 bats land on the roof last night. We'll see if they find their way in, or if that was just a specific bat.
