when playing reach, you should never stop moving and always go for the head with the DMR.....even though at times it may be challengin, after you play for a while you will get a hang of snapping to targets.......spam nades, strafe while in gunfights and alwaysput rounds down range at an opponent no matter the circumstances

i would use sprint, its just the best other than armor lock- up. a killer combination is the energy sword and the asult rifle. the energy sword is a one hit kill, and the assult rifle is the gun u would use 2 mow the other players down. use the energy sword for sneak attacks, or if an oppent is running up on u. the assult rifle is more of a get in their face type of wepen.

I also use bumper jumper, and for that reason, I avoid jetpack since I can'r jetpack and aim at the same time. In one of his vids, bwwaaaa mentions the same problem. I personally use evade, sprint, and armour lock.

halo is fun, competetive and unlike Cod it takes skill. Practice you will become a pro use grenades effectively time your melees and KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE MINI MAP. I noticed at times u werent looking. It can be used tactically because it can alert you of several enemys in the area, oh and make sure to have a team you can communicate to that way you can tell them to go to a certain power weapon and help you gain control of the map. You should really use the magnum more often. Kills twice as fast as DMR but at close range. Get used to the reticle bloom and learn to use your armor abilities and you'll start playing like a pro. Always go to the power weapons on the map right of the start aswell and it will get grant your team map control and it'l give you a huge advantage over the opposing team. Other than that, just practice. Halo takes time.

you dont give yourself enough credit sometimes. you seem to know what you are doing so that good. one thing i would suggest is to use the pistol more often. learn the rhythm for its reticle bloom and you'll be fragging noobs from halfway across maps with it. other than that, keep it up.

I've always seen halo as 1/4 gun, 1/4 melée, 1/4 grenades, and 1/4 body movements (jumping, strafing, etc). If u can balance your skill on those four and learn when each is appropriate, you should win most gun fights against less then amazing players

I haven't played reach yet... Geting less then then an hour. But You should put about half a mag into your enemy before useing your melee. And get comterable with the dmr Its the BR now. And I wouldn't worry to much about getting pwnd by 50s because pretty soon the rank system will kick in and you will mostly play against people at your level.
