@phlewis86 I like your videos too, mainly because I was taught to be very skepical in college. But I was never taught to be skeptical of skepticism. You present David Hume in a much clearer light than my book on philosophers does, and you make his philosophy quite easy to agree with in many ways.
what i am so shocked not to see are some videos pointing out that "nothing happens" shouldn't be on the board. if you believe in a god, whether or not there is one, you will be ridiculed and endure all kinds of suffering from godless heathens that hate you. while if you do not believe in god, you can think you are cool and part of an in crowd of some kind. those things go into young people's decision making process alot more than the other shit on that board because people live in the now.
@cyberpsygen7 I'm not sure what the purpose of your post is. I agree that there are a lot of folks out there that don't understand the concept of delayed gratification, but I'm not sure what it has to do with my presentation here. But then again, I can't remember everything in the video since I made it a while back.
@cyberpsygen7 One thing I can say is, "Well, we're Christians so we don't have anything to worry about," is probably a dangerous mentality. The Pharisees told John the Baptist they were children of Abraham and John had a good response for them.
Very interesting interpretation of Pascal's Wager. By the way I think you have very interesting and thought provoking videos.
