I am very concerned for the safety of our Kenyan Troops, the citizens of Kenya, somali refugees, and wazugus. I am also concerned about our citizens reaction to violence. This saddens me indeed. Prayers are needed for Kenya.

I am very concerned for the safety of our Kenyan Troops, the citizens of Kenya, somali refugees, and wazugus. I am also concerned about our citizens reaction to violence. This saddens me indeed. Prayers are needed for Kenya.

Keeping the mission short and decisive with clear orders and timeline to the troops can give kenya a breathing space in the face of the marauding bandit along the vast and expansive border with Somalia.Troops should be carefull not to disrespect local civilians inside Somali or even captured combatants, n another point is let Yusuf Haji take the lead on this,Saitoto should take a backseat, it would calm kenyan somalis down if there are accidents on the part of the army. Safe return to our boys.

Let us take emotions out of this and try to analyse it on the geopolitical strategic level. Ethiopia has sent its troops into somalia many times, most recently in 2006 where they helped the weak TFG get to Mogadishu but the Ethiopian invasion has failed and caused Somalis to rally behind the militant Alshabab group to force the Ethiopians out. Intervention in Somalia has not historically been positive for the invading forces, but i think sticking to a plan and making the mission short.....

Kenya will go to war because Wazungus have been Kidnapped . We should place some Wazungus in Migingo to be Kidnapped by UGs for us to get our Island back.

@72okoths Tourism is Kenya's second largest earner. They are doing it to protect that industry. The wazungus who are being kidnapped make the bulk of the visitors. That does answer your stupid question?

@slytheron Am just concerned that our mboys can be seen from miles away wearing green jungle fatigues in what is essentially a desert. Perhaps something like what the marines are wearing in Afghanistan would be more appropriate? That is after all the purpose of camouflage sin't it my friend? Or is it that you are just talking for the sake of it? smh.
