Shirley Bassey never quite got her real fame here in America, and thats a real shame in my opinion. Young folks today listen to call called entertainers of today who could not hold a note if their life depended on it. She was and is still  popular in Europe, and I saw her in concert here in NYC at Carnegie Hall back in 1975 when I was 23 years old. I know...every generation has their own style of music. But Shirley and Judy and Barbra and many others of yesterday are the real gold of talent.

I love this song so much! A real classic, with this fantastic composer Michel Legrand. Then add Dame Shirley and you have perfection. Barbara Streisand does a pretty version of it too, but it is like she is whispering compared to Dame Shirley! Thanks for the invite Jonas.
