i just smashed this Achievement Glad its over.....

I was playing the game for fun, and I've always wanted to unlock both achievements in one go. So I started up Hexic on a clean account, and 62 minutes later only Grand Pearl popped.

I did use the black pearl's turning effect as my last move, though. I see you just did a regular turn. Maybe that has something to do with it. -Or, maybe because this account doesn't have LIVE. I just don't know.

@RIVEXNGLE Hm, I doubt not being on LIVE would do anything so I would safely assume it was from turning the black pearl. Maybe because the black pearl constantly stayed in one spot it didn't bother registering it where as turning the black pearl itself makes the difference? There are a few glitches in this game that are shown on some other vids so it's definitely possible.

when u are able to build the masters grid,then why don´t u try to build a mmc??with the masters grid they are pretty easy to build.

Sorry correct me if I'm wrong but an MMC are those huge combos right? The reason is that I usually just strive for achievements in games. While going for the 200/200 I did get addicted to Hexic but I haven't played it sense.

i need help getting a six pearl flower

i got a 3 cluster and i tottaly almost didnt get that their was a bomb at one and i was scared lol im lucky if i get 2 stars in the first lv

The easiest way to get a Pooh-bah is to set up the master grid. Be sure to watch my 2 favorited videos titled 'Making A Master Grid Pt1/2' and study those 2 videos. It takes a little concentration but when you really know how to get the grid it makes the six pearl flowers extremely easy.

haha nice, the highest ive gotten was 675,000 but i dont know how to set up master grid yet.... how come you didnt cluster the starflowers before you made the pooba thing?

After all the mistakes I made on this I wasn't really worrying about score. There were several times where I destroyed the top row and almost lost all patience. At one point I sat down and took nearly 1 minute per move because I calculated where EVERY move would take me.

What level were you on when you did this?

I was pushing my way through level 3 when I got the achievements and I had just beaten level 2 when I set up the grid. I didn't even do it in the recommended time because the bombs can really mess you up so be careful of that

Thanks, I too thought I would never get these achievements but after really looking into the gameplay and not just randomly making combos, it becomes a lot easier.
