gotta say that Dynasty Warriors 4 is the best cus u get 1v1 duels against other generals from the other army and if u kill them in battle they dont come back. Number 6 is crap i wouldnt buy it, they changed some of the characters weapons,voices even how they look and i prefer the classics.

Actually, not rly, there are 2 ways to get the chara, 1 do empires mode and u have to take the place where it has the chara u want, and 2 if u suceed 1 of the story, u will get the choice to execute officers while playing the next story, so if u execute, u get to use the officer, for instance gan ning or lu bu
