I often head to the Avebury region, and walk around the multitude of sites there. I would love to visit this long barrow but not driving limits the distances I can travel. Just as well for me then, that you have posted this video!
nice vid. me & my mate have been looking for this long barrow for years. we stumbled across it ages n ages ago & havent been able to find it again. we are just about to look at google earth & find it. many many thanks.
Its on the A420 about 250 yards from the turning into Lanhill, you will see a wide grass verge by a farm gate and style, just enough to pull your car off the main road, no postcode, but if you get an ordnance survey map (landranger 173 swindon, devizes) the grid ref is ST 877 747. Good luck and its well worth finding.
Yes its is an amazing place, i think the cushions were left by someone who has meditating or worshipping, as the chamber is full of strange offerings, and has a small modern day shrine.

Got a SatNav location for this barrow? A postcode or somesuch?
