im thinking of buying those aax cymbals, but im getting mixed reviews, some people say there amazing cymbals, but then other people are saying they crack easily, i found an awesome deal on a website, an 18 inch aax crash 16 inch crash and 14 inch crash for 475 euro, im not sure weather to get them or not, any suggestions?

I would definitely advise you go ahead and buy some AAX

Sounds like a really good deal to me :) I use 14" AAX Hats, 16" AAX crash, 14" AAX crash, 8" AAX splash and a 20" AA Ride.. Not come close to cracking any, where as my Zildjian K has maybe the nicest sound, this is definitely the least durable (and more costly) Take a look at my videos to have a listen, The crashes sound so nice! Especially if you're looking at recording

@cripplemancrips well its pretty much like this.... your setup is however you want it to be, there are no rules of how a kit should look...hell you could play it upsidedown and no one would care.but only two toms (or a "four piece kit") are very common along with three toms ( five piece kit) ive been drumming for over 6 years and i use this setup along with almost everyone i know. its just a different way to setup your kit

@cripplemancrips A ton of drummers do that. Not me, personally. But dropping the middle tom and putting the ride in its place gives you easy access to it, and some people don't feel the need to have that many toms. Its all preference. There's nothing wrong with it.
