i love the RX-78 its my favorite gundam ever

its weapons are so basic two beam sword a beam rifle

and a bazooka and it single handedly changed the tide of a war

that most series need several gundams achieve

I think that's why I like the Zaku II. It's not fancy in any aspect, it's standard, rugged, solid. It's a workhorse, and it earns my respect for that. My favorite one though, was the MS-07H8 Gouf Flight Type seen in 8th MS Team. An unstable variant of a standard suit, but I love the design.

Still, SEED was a pretty good restart to the classic MSG. The N-jammers were a bit much, but overall it was good. Much more in the explanations of tech than MSG was.

so kiras character wouldnt be spoiled by plot armor and beam spam and also athrun could have joined the arch angel and started a rebellion in the name of kira to atone for what he did to him and there u have the makings of a interesting plot :)

heres a thought, from what I have seen (partially thanks to this vid) MS's have gotten a alot more fragile as time goes on. In this they actually take some effort to wipe out, but in Gundam Seed, shoot off an arm and they go super nova...wtf, anyway, nice combo of vid and music

I've noticed that too. Also, many MS in SEED are either "god-mod" or "cannon-fodder". Gundams are all nearly invincible (unless fighting eachother) and the stock MS like the Strike Dagger or GINN are like, one-shot kill, all through the series.
