@FuckAr0uNdAcc0uNt thanks man. And yes, only 1 5000D. It is severely underpowered. However, in theory should be VERY reliable. My amp lasts 6 months max. Had it fixed 5 times. Never had this problem with my dual 1500 HCT audiobahn set-up and 4 15's (which were nearly as loud, and definitely more reliable).

@RYDOGG2992 highs are nice because it's ghetto and cheap to do it up just halfway. I agree on hearing loss but that's no reason to half-ass something, IMO.

This set-up is now in a 2003 explorer, not this old 1995 explorer. The new truck is in my newer videos. It's green with 24's and halos, etc.

The alternator is factory in the 2003. It's handled this system with no problem for 2 years now, the battery gauge doesn't even budge. All we did was the "big 3" upgrade on the alternator.

actuallyu turns out I got ripped off the 300 amp alternator was a fucking 200 amp alt they put a smaller spindle in and called it 300 amp, tha'ts why it couldn't keep up.

I'd say none of the above, been out of the sound game for awhile, this orion amp pushes HELLA power, just I've already fried one... so yeah may not recommend it.

Underpowering subs isn't as bad as people say, I had 4 1300 RMS subs at 700 watts for 5 years, beating all day every day. Never blew a sub, I sold the system in the truck.

Yes, the Orions are grossly underpowered, but listening to it you'd have NO idea.
