I think aliens who come to us primitive intelligence lifeforms will not be all violent, cause first they had to survive themselves in order to come here. And if they are violent they most probably wouldn't attack us but manipulate us, so we do what they want us to do.
There is far more i want to say, but it seems unnecessary.

The aliens we will first come in contact with will be more advanced than us meaning they have not already destroyed themselves like we are possible about to (they understand sustainability). I doubt they will be interested in fighting us as they would simple obliterate us if they wanted to. they would be interested in our culture and would want to teach us things as they have done in the past/ pyramids and other unexplained structures. we should be open and welcome them to our plant
