  • Could you upload some templates?I looked these programs up on google and none of them are free.

  • Make a PDF with all the pices so I can print it

  • O_O

  • i couldn't understand how to make it. can you make a more understandable video... please : D

  • can u just post the fold ings on a site so we can print it?

  • can u use sketchup only

  • @fangblade561 I don't see why not, but I"m not making a tutorial for that.

  • @hepcecob can you give measurement in inches for me

  • fucking genius!

  • @hepcecob think u can make a tutorial using ur cammera? not a program? its kinda cunfuzing....

  • how do you use trim on progeCAD?

  • @paperdude1000 I would think the same way as in AutoCAD. I don't mean to blow you off, but you can just put that into google and there will be web pages that will be able to answer all of your questions regarding the software.

    caddit.net/intellicad/tutorial/

This page has good basic tutorials, what you're looking for is on the 3rd Tutorials page.

  • how do you import shapes from sketchup to progeCAD?

  • @paperdude1000 watch my programs tutorial (as I said in this tutorial)

  • i found you just need a .6x.6 inch square and a 1x1 inch square then combine them and do the .5166 thing. :P

  • Right, but the problem is getting the spacing right between them. another thing is that the big draft at the beginning is reused for the rest of the pieces in part 2 and 3

  • who does this?

  • Exactly what do you mean by that question?

  • i mean other than you who even try's this kind of thing.

  • The only reason these tutorials exist is because I got a lot of responses asking for a tutorial. I was actually surprised myself to find out how many people actually want to make a paper rubik's cube.

  • what age did you start doing things like this

  • Parents bought me my first model when I was about 10 I think. Started designing my own stuff right as I finished High School.

  • wait which program r u using

  • In all 3 parts I mostly use Autocad, some sketchup, and solidworks for demonstration purposes. Check out my programs tutorial for more.

  • yo i read the some of ur comments and im completely new to this. like how shud i start tho with paper mechanics

  • there are a bunch of free paper models you can build online (search "free paper models" on google). If you want something a bit more on the professional level search "paper model" on Amazon. After building one larger model you should have a grip on how to work with the medium.

  • k thx but one question? if i dont make the paper model and i just have like cut out sheets cant i just cut it out and fold it up?

  • If someone else designs it for you and makes the drafted out pages, then of course you could print them out and put it together yourself. The big problem is how it's tabbed out. Every person will have their own preference and for some one way will work better than another.

  • o ok i appreciate ur help im gonna start trying to do paper mechanics

  • and one question. is it possible that u can give me like a link to print your things? im not demanding just wondering and c if i can make my life a lot easier

  • oh my god thank you!!! your the only person to give how to make each line ive looked for something like this for days

but i ha to do everything on microsoft word

  • Please tell me you're not using the draw/line tool in microsoft word to draft this out, that would be pure torture.

  • i am using that it was hard but fun when i figured out out to do it

  • wow, if you're able to draft out this whole thing in microsoft work, my hat is off

  • how you make the center piece like the main one?

  • do you mean the central core, or what. Please be more precise with your question, it's very vague.

  • wooooo
