  • This is the things i think about when i see less and less people recycle and more litter scattered on the streets.

People don't even pick up the own dogs bloody pooh.

  • Global warming is real and it is a problem that needs to be solved soon, BUT we will without doubt be able to solve this before 2100 and the world WILL NOT end in 2020!!!!!!!

  • im pretty sure there is going to be a new world war when resources become scarce

  • like most people i live day to day..

  • THIS IS WAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN! everyone has to put aside their differences! The World needs to become 1 HUGE COUNTRY. we all need to be united as 1 like NOW! and we need to start preparing for upcoming years! Everyone has to do their part. think of new inventions, and tell them to other people! Spread the word, if we are all united as one, just think of what we can achieve. SPACE TRAVEL tech will come probably in our life time if this happens. and im talking about inhabiting other planets!THUMBSUP

  • The elite wants us stop thinking, they wanna do it for us! That is the core reason why kids today stop thinking after a certain age.

  • I agree 100%!

The light at the end of the tunnel is an illusion. catastrophic climate change is beyond the tipping point.

We have modified our atmosphere such that, the weather that we are experiencing, will probably become more and more extreme.

Catastrophic climate change is accelerating, and is probably beyond our control.

The amount of heat trapping green greenhouse gases going into our atmosphere is increasing every year.

Like it or not we are one of the endangered species!

    Human life on

  • this guy is catering to the uniformed....this is not factual information

  • Haha come to Canada, most fresh water in the world!

  • wow, we're fucked lol..

well ill pretty much be in my prime for 2020, so i hope the apocalypse comes a bit early, because by 2050 i wont be so useful.

and ive been thinking, so basically all education you take in school is useless since in 50 years you wont be using it?

  • @KruegerSamuel Education is useful if it changes the person who receives it in a positive way. But sadly many of the things we are teaching now will not be used in 50 years time.. I teach in a business school, and what 80%+ of what is taught is based on how the world was -- how we know things do NOT work -- and is hence irrelevant. This is very worrying. We need education to get people thinking and cooperating and coming up with solutions, not preaching the ways of the present and the past.

  • @ExplainingTheFuture not just any education..

    the right type of education..

    great videos..

honestly, I would want to see more videos, goodluck

  • thumbs up if ur watching this in 2022

  • This madness will stop once we all die and let evolution to do it's job for another intelligent being to evolve. And I hope it will be better than us. Look at the dinosaurs.

  • I am actually looking forward to this collapse; I feel it's the only way people will open their eyes and start thinking again. The Venus Project gives me hope when it comes to what will actually happen after the fall of our current system, but I won't know for sure until then...

  • Circumcision.

  • @obamabinbiden911 ah man you said this so well, very philosophical

  • As the borg will say: we will adapt.

I stop worrying because I have faith in our ability to adapt.

  • Thinking is the problem. It separates us from our inner nature that just "knows" and is in balance with life. Children are naturally connected to that inner self. They lose the connection as they learn to think and as the thinking takes over with it's false personality called "I". The world today is a reflection of our specie's "thinking". That thinking can include focusing on a problem or ignoring a problem, but it is "thinking" that is still the real problem.

  • man I was expecting an answer.... very disappointed!

  • @Rcwatson83 But others have posted some great answers here in the comments. :-)

  • @Rcwatson83 I build electric velomobiles, Accomplishes 95% of my transportation needs at less than $0.08 / day.

  • Why we not acting is simple to explain, because most of us who are sitting behind a computer screen are not yet directly affected from the changes around us. The people and animals in africa without food water and money screaming for help in every minute of their lives, but too few people give them attention to change their actions. The price of oil and the dow jones is sadly more important.

  • It is all because humans are very stupid. the most stupid alive being on earth. And we dont even agree with that. In the past, thosands of years ago we mioght be were very smart, but no more. We are stupid. And we dont want to learn and admit it.

  • It is wrong to regard humans as truly rational beings. Most of us come into this world by chance and mostly unconscious drives lead us to our destinies. The history of our species follows very accurately the same (exponential) math equations that describe growth in other animal species under comparable advantageous conditions. The characteristics of the human exponential growth curve since 1850 is definitely not sustainable and will crash at its top due to inevitable resource constraints.

  • people forget that those in control benefit from all this..and there are too many people who have been brainwashed by the massive propaganda machine which they control known as the media...those in power prevent anything from being done or what is done is only for show with no real value to solving anything...the masses have been thru out history been made powerless because there are too many people willing to help the elite in their agenda for a small benefit to themselves

  • You act like this is something new. Resources have always been limited. People starve to death or die of thirst all the time around the world. As long as we allow the free market to take its course, that will ensure more people will be taken care of.

  • @junmiguel2007 No, a bit of a joke (they do nothing unless votes or money depend on it)... People might need leaders, an undivided house under which roof to stand in an work under and with....

  • We are already dying. It's just a slow ignorant death.

  • @junmiguel2007 On a slight light humorus note... can we rule out leaders, except were money and votes are involved?

  • @junmiguel2007 so we see ahead but don't try ahead basically?

  • Only reason we're stuck is because we consider them to be Somebody Else's Problem (ironic. selfish. generally unpleasant situation.) or just don't have the ability or will to do so (not all methods are acceptable, some people genuinely believe what they believe). The only reason we survived so long is because we used something else to do it for us (one reason Rome fell). Now the most we can wait for is an act of God or the exterminator to cruelly deal with our problems.

  • @Malfaxi what i mean is, We'll have real problems doing some sort of change without running into a true conflict with our nature or beliefs. Stop a guy or girl from thinking about sex without harming them forcing them to take something. Invent a contraceptive without triggering repercussion from an institution of belief (who am i kidding, The Church) I understand) restrict diets without nature saying eat this or that. We are at the mercy of what we attempted to defy. nature...

  • I don't think the problem is that we don't think - I think the problem is not knowing what to do about it.

What would you suggest we should do?

    Good job on your videos.

  • Thought is the problem- that's why we are in this mess.

    seriously... think about it.

    lol

  • @obamabinbiden911 Agreed.

  • the question is " why would we think/work if we will have everything for free?

  • @galalatef Do you get paid for thinking?

  • To put this in very crude and simplistic terms: were shit fucked unless we do some serious thinking and preperation and planing unto the future.

  • Humankind are generally selfish ! Like the line from the film "Red planet".."Humans are basic "party animals" ! As long as they are having a good time. We don´t care about the rest !! " By 2050 Earth population will be 9 billion !! How are we going to feed that many people ! Much less house and supply fresh drinking water to ! Like or not Oil WILL run out ! We stop thinking and caring about the future at own peril and destruction !!

  • Maybe we are not equipped to solve that one.

Being one of the species that`s causing it`s own demise.

    Like the algea.

  • @luckylukhasj Yes, I see what you mean. Like we are locked into a destiny -- an evolutionary cycle of birth-life-death beyond our control. Deep.

  • @ExplainingTheFuture

I like this kind of subject a lot. The nature of it.

Like there seems to be yust enough oil to do damage with.

Or.. about half the diameter of earth closer to the sun and we would fry.

You can clearly see this on earths map. The fact that everything around us is pure

energy, So even if our concience dies this energy continues to exist.

But now im rambling.. lol nice vid ;)

  • @ExplainingTheFuture yes but to think this way would be to accept it as an inevitability i mean personal i am aware of the problems facing us but i am also aware of our capability to find solutions to problems so i think if i go ahead and try to divise new ways to go about thing surely so will others right. but what do i know ill come back in 6 years when i have my phd and hopefuly will be able to think of a new power suply and save everyone XD if only but ye stay positive =D

  • @ExplainingTheFuture a great mystic said there r 3 breaths. One of the animal, Two of the Human and THIRD of the God breath.1 breathers are highly territorial like animals, 2 are refined humans and highly logical/great traits, 3 are God is in all actions and profoundly Divine behaviors and impact though 1/2 people may not recognize there relevance...The Three Types Of Homosapian Breathing Levels. Humans collectively are at 1 level like a animal stuck in a cage. Breathing Is A Golden Key Of Mind-

  • This is true we have stopped thinking.

To many distractions. No, that is just another excuse. I have found my self not thinking not caring. Only now I find my self wondering, worrying about the future of our species as a whole. I guess we all get caught in that immediate pleasure/problem. Negativity and distractions slip in so easily. Like a car sinking in the ocean, only your will can determine the integrity of your waterborne vessel.

  • @Nastuf Thanks for a great comment! I think you are right -- the distraction of immediate pleasure is a real problem . . .

  • Time for Venus!

  • most people stop thinking because it is hard. We don't reward thinkers in our society. If you invest the time to become an active academic you're still not guaranteed a living by this society.

  • Thanks for this. I guess you are right. In our society in so many ways it does not pay to think.

  • Good video!

  • The fossil fuel companies are acquiring the alternative electricity technologies so they can pit them against each other, never becoming effective, so fossil fuels will always be the only realistic energy source apart from Nuclear. There is a metaphor in this situation, 'don't put all your eggs in one basket'.
