This Corolla is a bucket, but it's the best damn bucket you can own. Reliable as hell. My aunt bought hers a month before I was born in 94' and 15 years later its still trucking on along with about 160k miles and almost never had any major engine issues besides a worn starter and radiator.
@KioskHacking same with my dads 96 ford ranger 2.4 liter 112 hp manual tranny i was born like 2 months after he bought it and he sold it to my uncle like 4 years ago and it still works even after the clutch kinda was broken but he just needed some new transmission fluid and it fixed the problem i so wanna a manual tranny when im 16 but i dont know what kinda car would be good and cheap
@p154831 The Ford Crown Victoria has an manual version and you can find one that's in great condition off of ebay for under 10,000 (Usually around 5,000 bucks) which is a great deal. But the manual is rare to find, most are automatic. I'm trying to the the Crown Vic when I turn 16. They are reliable too. But the only bad thing I've heard is that they're gas guzzlers but I'm planning on doing some engine mods to it. (Continued)
@KioskHacking (Part 2) They are pretty beast cars (they are the same cars that police use and when the police don't want them anymore you can find them on ebay as retired police cars for real cheap) If you go on my channel and scroll through some of my favorite you should be able to see some good vids of the CVPI (Crown Vic Police Interceptor) in action.
@p154831 Scratch that, upon further research I found out you can only do a tranny swap to get manual, my bad. I thought they made some version since I seen some on YouTube lol
My moms corolla has done 221000 Km and it has not changed a thing. The clutch is fine, the gearbox is fine, engine is fine... The ONLY problem with it is rust. If u take care of the bodywork and stuff that car will have no problem doing 1000000 Km
I'm looking at buying a 94 Toyota Corolla. The guy im buying it from had the motor rebuilt and all sorts of stuff. I was wondering how many miles your clutch had on it before it started slipping. Thanks!
Dang. I've got the 94 corolla dx model. little bigger engine. 270,000 miles and it will run 0 - 60 in about 9 and a half after a few mods I've made. It's absolutly the most dependable car you can own, so do listen to the guy who says get a mustang. It may make it to 100 then fall apart just like every other mustang I know.
These things are great. Some guys where chasing me n my friend around and i was trying to get away and I was doing about 100mph and hittin hard turns doing like 75 adn this thing handled great. might've saved my life. Their buick didnt stand a chance aha.
No, the Crown Vic can do 130+ and the corolla stops around 110 I think. Well my friend said thats what his topped out at. You're comparing a V8 engine to a 1.6 or 1.8 Inline 4 that wasn't built for speed.

Besides, slipping clutch or not corolla's are incredibly slow, they are good cars though.
