I was speaking with one of the ushers (she seemed to be very knowledgeable) at the show and she offered that she believed the critics panned bit ecause they have never been partial to Frank Wildhorn. The shame of it is the audience loved it and gave a standing ovation the night I saw it. What a damn shame. At least I was able to see it. I will bet that sometime it will return down the road. It is too good to just go off into that good night.

I saw this a couple days ago. I know the critics panned it, BUT this is a quality show. I would recommend to anyone that it is a "should see" if you go to NYC.
