Wtf? This is lame. They never left. They took a break between Black & Blue and Never Gone but that only last about 2 years because they started working on Never Gone in 2003/2004 & they had tours! I LOVE THEM. Always have, always will! this industry just can't appreciate good music anymore!
i am 21 and i've been listenin to these guys since 97?? i think lol. but i've grown up with them and i think that they are just as good if not better than they were in the 90s. people have to realize that they are older so their musical style will change a little but they're not completely abandoning their roots! if ur a fan... u get it! and if not then u don't lol plain and simple!

I think that they are getting hotter and growing their talent as they're are getting older.Backstreet will always be the best for me and for the rest of their fans and that's what really matters to them and to us.I love them.They are part of my entire life. I will always be a BSB fan,it doesn't matters what they say about them, they are perfect for me and for all their fans.

1. Why should they change their name? Nobody bothers the Beastie Boys or the Beach Boys.
2. Just because they are getting older doesn't mean they can't make music that they love for all people. This is who they are, they are a group of guys that love to sing pop/r&b songs. Just because they are almost all in their 30's doesn't mean they can't dance, and have a good time. Why do people feel like they have the right to categorize them. They are very talented guys and deserve to be respected.
