Autologous stem cell transplantation is a procedure by which blood-forming stem cells are removed, and later injected back into the patient. All stem cells are taken from the patient themselves and cultured for later injection. Adult Stem Cell Research can alleviate or treat Diabetes, Parkinson's and other diseases in the future.

However, embryonic stem cell research cannot or will not treat diabetes and other diseases. Based on studies, embryonic stem cells when used as replacement for tissues of organs produce only tumor cells. Rationale: Undifferentiated cells cannot replace differentiated cells. They have diifferent intrinsic cellular properties.

Question: Isn't the aim to use pluripotent stem cells to generate differentiated progenitors? (That is after all one of their two defining properties) In which case the potential for treatments exists through these and they are not useless.

Embryonic stem cell research is a fake science. The US government will not get positive results from this research however, only deaths of embryonic human beings as samples for the tests or trials.

What this government would do is to spend more on adult stem cell research which yield more promising results with positive and successful experience.

NO TO EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH.

Now i know that embrionic stem cell research has so far not given positive results but if we were to get a better grasp on it, we could make a break through. I do believe that adult stem cell research as well don't get me wrong.

Now i do not know if you are a women or not but say you are and you get pregnant but you would not be able to keep the baby. Now if one of your friends is in acrash and she cannot walk. If someone told you that your egg could fix your friends leg, would you do it?
