its about this old guy getting killed and jay chou is the detective. him and his partner which really is the guy who killed the old guy goes and find the witness of the crime (jay does not know that his partner killed the old guy) at the end he realizes and his partner is actually the guy who killed the old man.

cause the guy that always gets chased is afraid of what jay's partner might do to him because he was caught when he was there taking pictures and saw jay's partner murdering the victim (2:47-3:15). hope this helps!
