@thepieman2000 Well, it's a seated venue. When there are seats, I think people at Weird Al concerts feel an obligation to sit down most of the time. I'm sure they felt awkward too; it's both a rock concert and a theatrical show. Usually the only time you stand for a theatre event is toward the end with standing ovations... which is what you can usually see happening at a Weird Al concert with seats.

Saw Al at a festival last year. No seats, much less awkward and felt more like a rock show.
