no, you don't have to and the maximum completion you can get before fighting Tabuu is 96%, but anyways, no, you can fight him anytime as long as you have defeated every dark character

Man, I'm at 99% and all I got left is the bottom left corner of that maze it says. Cant find out what I need to do for the life of me, even with these videos.

could u plz help me, I´ve got 99% in the subspace emissary and the last flag I have is in the upper right corner of the subspace emissary as shown on the map cuz I died, I can beat tabuu on Intense mode but what could I do to have 100%, are there any throphies through the maze, I don´t remember, plz help me :(
