for the people who say: its just a word and so on, well we do live in a culture and its best to try to fit in a bit better, also people who swear generally seem to have lower IQ than their non swearing counterparts, which could diminish chances for work etc.

however from what I've seen of your son, he seems really intelligent, and he is really lucky that he is learning two languages like he is.

If there is any sort of correlation between the two it would probably be that people with lower IQ's swear more. In that case it would not mean that swearing lowers your IQ, more likely, that because someone has a lower IQ, they may be more likely to swear than someone with a higher one.
