comb pick inside view

funny how you can compress the pins past the shear line and with how spring are made they will be able to fully compress multiple times without getting damaged. any idea where i can get a comb pick?

isnt that a good way to blow a spring on the lock?

You mean that this method will break the springs or what?

Not so much break but it can lead to the springs becoming wedge or permanitly compressed, which would make picking it pretty tough

I am practicing on a Abus 55/50 padlock

which comb should i be using on it a five tooth comb or six , how do you know which to use both fit but will not open the lock ?

Any advice would be good .

Look at the key to see how many pins it has. You can also make a comb pick with the key as a template.
