  • Pull up - WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAH , another pull - UOOOOOOOSHHHHHHH another - YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • da boys be tryin to kick there way up, swim there way up, jerk there way up haha i love seeing people struggle to get over that bar

  • Hahahaha. Your friends are hilarious.

  • call urself clt??u look more like a joker

  • What was the last sentence:"Enjoy your pull-up sessions and enjoy pulling your ????

  • If my legs are bending a little when I'm pulling does it still count? (PS: "Not the Frog pull up).

  • when u cycle ur legs, dont ppl do that to workout their abs?

  • Well, that's a different workout already. This is just solely pull ups. :)

  • Are you from junyuan? the background looks familiar.

  • wtf lol when u jumped on the bars and griped them every one was like ohh yay!

  • NICe move

  • you have very big hands! hahaha

  • fun times in secondary school :D

  • thats a chin up no?!? im sooo damn confused whats a chin up and a pull up?!

  • No. A pull-up is with your palms FACING AWAY. from you. A chin-up is with you palms FACING YOU.

  • He's right.

  • @DAWJ1993 either way you pull your self up and your chin goes over the bar... should be called a "pull yourself up and get your chin over the bar"... if i do a lat pull down over had its called an overhand lat pull down, facing you would be a reverse grip pull down... dont stress soo much on the details man...same concept for both chin up and pull up and just about everywhere in the world that tests or uses them allows both and they both are hard as shit

  • they are pull ups

  • ive never seen so many people be that entertained by a guy doing pullups.. thats amazing. i wish more people in america were that astounded with fitness as xbox or tv.

  • lol the audience alone made it a great video

  • Ncc ftw

  • nice work --- i wish i had an audience when I did things right/ wrong hehe

  • fuck me the first time i have ever seen somebody perform proper pull ups thank you for showing all the idiots on here how to do a pull up my hat goes off to you...

  • I couldn't have said it better. Hate those fagg's claiming to do 100 pullups. Those fuckin' airswimmers...

  • go go NCC!

  • lol the people in the background cheering him on

  • wtf

  • he probably weighs 8 stones thats why its easy 4 him

  • muscle is in proportion to bodyweight. the weight of the person CAN NOT be used as an excuse for why someone can do pullups. its merely said by people who can't do as many pull ups so they feel better about themselves.

  • i weigh 12 an a half stones i can do 20 pull ups no problems

  • Keep on pullin!

  • shoulder what? i'm sorry your shoulders are not that wide.

  • 5 stars from california, USA

  • this is so hilarious.

  • who the shit is sir farhan? he sucks...im 80 kg and can do 16 pullups...PERFECTLY...well ok, 15 PERFECTLY....NCC wimp lol

  • Congrats dude!

Thats very good. You must have trained hard for it. Once again, well done.

    Farhan

  • sorry for my rudeness man, u seem like a nice guy :) Flawless form! Btw, can u get beyond 15? I can't no matter what i do... :(

  • Hey.. its ok.

Well.. in my opinion its a matter of doing consistency and intensity. You do your pull up sets as often as you can doing the most that you can and always trying to get that half more that you think you can't. Another way is to do the sets really slowly. I hope these helps. It helped me a lot. Happy trying! and good luck!

  • he does have a point

    good

  • well done!

  • that was the right way. there so many people on here

that think they are bad because they can do 30. those

30 arent even the right ones. you have to keep your

body perfectly straight when doing them (like he did).

  • That booing and cheering was HILARIOUS! KUDOS!

  • the cheering and booing was funny! hahaha

  • I've been told that the overhand grip works the triceps more and the underhand grip works the biceps more but both sections get a workout doing this type of excercise.

  • I don't really have a bar anywhere...Well I have swings and trees but I don't have anything higher than me that is like the thing you are using...does anyone have any advice for what I should use?

  • Search on Amazon for "Door Gym". If you don't like that one, look in the related items, there are a few others like it. If you like it, I'd buy it from KarateDepot dot com; it's cheaper and has cheap shipping. Pretty decent product with no installation. Just make sure it will fit your doors first.

  • Yeah but I don't want to buy one...

  • lol...It doesn't really have to be higher than you. Just bend you knees and keep them that way while you do pull ups.

  • just go look around in your city im sure there is somewhere, usually in parks, school yards etc. Otherwise you could buy a chin up bar

  • "enjoi your pull up sessions...and enjoi pulling your stick" LMAO

  • there's no right or wrong ways of doing pull ups. it depends on what ur working on.

  • aha! enough with the arguments, just pull that bar! Fired Up! Hooyah!

  • Ha ha funny shit. I need to post a new video.

  • all muscles are pulling muscles dumbass, lol, nice vid

  • rofl at people saying triceps are used in pullups. Biceps are a pulling muscle, tricep is a pushing muscle, so how the fuck could tricep get used in this movement?

  • Because the long head of the triceps originates on the scapula. This means when you contract the triceps, the shoulder is adducted. Shoulder adduction is the primary movement in the pullup. This mostly stresses the Latimus Dorsi, but it also recruits the long head of the triceps, the teres major, the pectoralis major, and several other muscles.

  • Wrong! Never go right down until your arms are straight as it puts strain on the joint and not the muscle :)

  • pull ups dont work your triceps at all.. its just concentric then ecentric contration of the bicep. even as he is going down the bicep is slowly opening up, the tricep isnt contracting

  • lmao wat r a retard dude the triceps holds the weight of ur body when ur doing pulls

  • Dude, it's the biceps. Don't call someone a retard when you obviously are. Pull ups work the biceps and latissimus dorsi muscles the most. Dips work the triceps and chest.

  • the only retard here is u who doesnt wat he is talking about fucking noob

  • the long head of the triceps is engaged...check anatomy

  • you are wrong the long head actually contracts...check anatomy

  • Again I must add, that pullups utilize, your wrist, forearms, biceps, triceps, lats, abs, lower back muscles and much more.

  • I challange you to do 41 pullups even when kicking your feet.

  • The point is that running is DIFFERENT from pull ups. Whether i can do 41 pull ups with or without kicking is not the point. Its about excecuting the exercise properly. Technique is of dire importance.

  • Dear Haloamor, again I disagree. People tend to be too concerned about being stiff as a board. That is not a natural movement to being pulled up with natural eccentricity to the bar. Plus momentum works both ways. It helps going up and hurts going down. You can't create one way momentum.

  • neither one is right or wrong. many athletes (vs body sculptors) prefer kipping pull ups over standard ones (though they would far more reps). it's not the case where it's easier so doing 20 kipping pull ups is the same as doing 8 standard ones. it actually works out different TYPES of muscles (fast twitch vs slow ""). another ex. would be kettlebells. everything about it is "wrong" in context of fitness as most know it, but this is a very effective way to train for hardcore athletes.

  • Well I must agree with Saucyi.

  • Well Sir,

That's where you're wrong. Cycling and 'wriggling' generates momentum. And momentum aids the individual in doing the pull up. It is very wrong to say that pullups are a form of a full body workout as it is not a cardiovascular exersise like running and swimming thus it does not utilise every muscle in the body. Thus, please do get your facts right first before stating such a comment.

    Thank you.

  • Thanks for your response. However, I disagree with you. My buddy can do 41 pullups and he is 48 years old. I myself can do 12 pullups straight legged, but can do only 10 while trying to create momentum. A person can run farther and more effeciently pumping their arms, than keeping there arms by their sides. This is true even in the sprint, which is not cardiovascular. Imagine if one had to run with arms held stiffly against the sides.

  • Nonsense. Pullups is a full body exercise. Cycling and other body movements do nothing to increase the number of pullups. Your arguement is like telling someone to run without using your arms.

  • haha

  • baik ar sir! haha..how cum u got long hair!haha

  • That have to be sir farhan...FIRE UP!!

  • musT bE sIR FaRhaN

  • THats definitely sir farhan! haha

  • is that sir farhan?

  • you forgot one thing. always remember to water parade before and after. loyalty to country....
