  • that awkward moment when you realize Gonzo is sexually attracted to chickens...

  • @that1weirdkid27 Gonzo is sexually attracted to everything including cows, chickens and humans.

  • @that1weirdkid27 also, big bird

  • Kids today will never know innocence or sweetness like this ever again

  • Gonzo really likes his Camilla

  • Wow Robin fell into a tuba, funny

  • this rocks i love the muppets and im 8

  • you know Gonzos chicken fetish was not originally part if the character.

  • I defy anyone not to have a big goofy grin on when Julie Andrews is singing to Kermit. :)

  • Julie Andrews is cute in this video. And a great actress, I don't know how she keeps a straight face through all of this.

  • Dang, Kermit got more action than Dick Van Dyke!

  • AH! Gonzo, PLEASE let that finally be Camilla!

  • What sort of animal IS Gonzo, anyway?

  • @NancyDrewGuru An alien, we found out in the movie Muppets From Space.

  • @MuriKakari Or, for those who don't really go with some of the Disney canon, he's simply a "Whatever," but in all honesty they've been hinting that he's an alien forever, really.

  • How Julie kept a straight face during the beginning skit is beyond me.

  • AWW poor Gonzo! I'd dance with him :)

  • Kermit dances with Miss Mousey & sings a duet with Julie Andrews!

Uh oh! Piggy's going to be mad!

  • Aw poor Gonzo.

  • ahhh gonzo's obsession with chickens will never get am i right

  • What is this?! Kermit dancing with Miss Mousie while Piggy is near them?!! Have they all forgotten about the Bernadette Peters-episode?

Granted, that show was quite not as much to be remembered as many others, but still...

By the way - very good Gonzo-performances here!

  • Poor Gonzo, I wounder if he was always ment to be an alian or if just a really random muppet

  • I love the look on Julie's face :)

  • the ironic thing is, years later in Shrek II, Julie plays the queen and her husband the king ends up being a frog...

  • kaboom!!!!!!

um kermit i was too late

    KABOOM!!!!!!

    um they have two cannons...

  • Kermit <3 Julie forevaz yo. They'd have beautiful tadpole-babies together :3

  • "Fowl!"

  • I always loved this show.

  • LOL at 9:36-9:56:

The mountain lion. Huh! The alligator. Huh! The coyote, the timber wolf. Huh! The American bald eagle... the American bald eagle? ...Excuse me, this list is now inoperative.

  • Miss Piggy should have come out and laid the smackdown on Julie Andrews.

Not just because she was signing intimately with Kermit, but just because.

  • That was hilarious when Gonzo danced with Camila and the they fell down Ha!!

  • at 1:20 i like how there heads go back and forth LOL

  • LOL!! Julie Andrews is such a wonderful lady... she still does write children's books in fact.

    Love the jibe at McCarthy!!

Oh, and did anyone else notice they were playing badminton with a "birdie", or even a "shuttleCOCK"? :P

  • She wrote kids books, sang songs, and she did one heck of an act as Mary Poppins!! What an actress!!

  • Ha ha ha "I have here a list"... Total Joe McCarthy HUAC joke. That joke was 25 years old at airtime and is still funny fifty some years after Joe and his list... Timeless

  • "When you were a tadpole and I was a fish" is BEAUTIFUL! Julie Andrews had an AMAZING voice! Tragic that she may never sing again.

  • @verkaforever yeah, something happend to her i forget what, and it made so she can't sing very well.... idk what happend like i said

  • @Webkinzrocks400 It was a fumble in surgery, RIP Julie's Soprano voice.

That song was beautiful, I wish it was shown in puppet form.

  • "Excuse me, this list is now inoperative"

Boy, Henson sure had the right-wing pegged.

  • This is the first time we learn the green Whatnot's name is Marvin. We've seen Marvin Suggs, one of his Muppephones named Marvin, and now a Whatnot named Marvin. How many Marvins were on this show?

  • Marvin's a funny name. Maybe that's why they use it so often.

  • Aww... Gonzo's song at 1:37 just breaks my heart. We've all been in that position no doubt, but it made me smile when his sweet Cammila showed up.

BTW, does Julie Andrews still write children's books?

  • Wheee! Robin flew out of the tuba!

  • lol alister darling at end!

  • i would have danced with Gonzo. - He is so cute! - But I guess it had to be the chicken...

That song Julie Andrews sang to Kermit is nice. - I'll have to have a look if somebody used it to make a little video out of it... - Maybe a slide show or something...

  • der song ab 3:29 wo find ich den

  • Du könntest ne CD kaufen. - z.B. "Muppet Hits" .- Da ist es mit drauf. - Findest du z.B. bei Amazon.

Wenn Du nur genau dieses Lied und sonst nichts anderes willst, weiß ich leider nicht weiter...

    - Hey, wie macht man das mit der Zeitangabe von dem Video? wo andere dann einfach raufklicken können und genau da landen wo man es will? Wie diese blaue Zeit in deiner Frage...

  • na du gibst die zeit einfach ein

    ungefähr so 3:29

den rest macht you tube dann

man muß ja nischt mehr machen in dieser technischen welt

  • The song is 'Borneo'. Not sure of the original artist, but the Jim Kweskin Jug Band covered it back in the sixties. Jerry Nelson's voice was very similar to Kweskin's.

  • @fritz252516 Haben Sie das Lied gefunden? Ich war nicht sicher, wenn Sie Englisch sprachen.

  • Sam the Eagle for President!!!

  • she is so elegant ^^

  • Sam for congress!

  • aaahhh suki suki now.....Julie stilling miss piggy's man(or should i say frog)

  • He fell into a tuba. But it's OK, Animal's getting him out.

    Robin: Weeeeeeeeee!

  • @CanadianRanger17 lol, Robin was as happy as a kid on a joyride. He was just so cute when he flew over Kermits and Julies heads screaming 'weeeeeeeeeee!!!'

  • Kermit's approving nod, at Gonzo dancing with the chicken, is the best! 99 out of 100 modern day sitcoms are not as good as this stuff!

  • aw poor gonzo id dance with him

  • Bagmitten with a chicken. FOWL! lol

  • that's badmitten.

  • For sure. CAN I JOIN!?!?!?!?!

  • Uncle Sam, you spoke too soon XD

  • the jawharp guy kind of looks like Fidel Castro.... Interesting.

  • i love that song

  • I needed that! It made me laugh, plus I remember Sesame street when my kids were little. I totaly enjoyed it....I still have the original cookie monster puppet! Julie andrews was great with Kermit!!!!

  • Julie was a fish?!

  • It's a JOKE!

  • i know it was sarcastic.

  • Sorry, I didn't realise. Julie Andrews is a LEGEND!

  • true true my grandpa was in one of her movies too.

  • COOL! Which movie was he in?

  • whoops mary poppins

  • MARY POPPINS

  • @realar No way who did he play? Was it a cameo or extra?

  • @historyfreakfroman He's no cameo he's a very memorable character- the irish fox! He even got a plush of him at the Disney Store. He's also a penguin alongside Mr. Banks himself, a horse and the merry go round operator.

  • @realar Son of a gun. That's your grandpa? Lucky.

  • @Videot01 I know, he's also Gumby.

  • well at least 'till ur done dancing w/ the chicken

  • aww of course i'll dance w/ u gonzo!!!!

  • Hehehe... I just love the eagle. And Julie, too, of course!! ;D

  • "I have here a list!!!!"

ihihih how funny is that eagle??

  • How is that line funny? Is it just me or did some president say "I have here a list!"?

  • I am pretty sure that it is referring to McCarthy and his list of suspected communists in the US government.

"I have here in my hand a list of 205—- a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party..."

So I guess the comedy comes from parodying McCarthy and the ridiculousness of his claims.

  • Why is Camilla in a vase?

  • that was no vase, that was a pretty evening gown.

  • Yay for Gonzo and Animal!

  • Muppets

  • I totally love that song she sings to Kermit.

  • me too!! she's soooooo sweet!! she even holds his hand :)

  • @Quidam Oh! The voice of an angel!

  • I've never seen the hillibillies before... do they ever show up again?

  • Yeah, they do. They have been around for a while.
