I was just on a vacation there. On top of the M is beautiful, I love that town. I live in the middle of the desert in New Mexico so seeing that many trees is amazing.
I love Missoula!!! Too bad that as we speak the mountain where they are sitting is burning up and smoking up our amazing and wonderful perfect town. I love it here so much.
I'm convinced that you are on a quest to go to every video on youtube with "missoula" in the tags so you can copy and paste this comment on every video.
@splivey - Whaaat? Clearly you have never been to Missoula. It's not in the middle of nowhere. And it's a college town, not a favorite spot for old, burned-out drug dealers.
She was a very lovely girl, so I was shocked when I looked down at her legs and they were just as hairy as mine! lol.. I will never forget that day! To the dark haired girl that borrowed the NC guy's binoculars back in 1991, I hope you made it back in time to watch your bob marley video....even though you called me a whimp for loosing my breath on the way up to the M!
I walked up the trail and sat on the M back in 1991. Being flatlander from NC, I was amazed to see a girl in flip flopps cruise right past me as I was gasping for air. Once at the top, she sat down next to me and showed me a PEACE sign on hill to your right she had created by spraying the grass with herbiside or something.. I recalled she was a UM Student from Texas. After just a few minutes, she said she had to get back to watch a Bob Marley video with her friends. lol
Rockin Rudy's is still rockin', FFT still cooking, and Reserve street is still a mess. To clarify the whole lake thing. The valley floor was under 1000 ft. of water when the lake was there. It carved out Eastern Washington. Mt. Jumbo and Sentinel were islands. Go Griz!!!
Good to see that the 'M' is intact. I was there nearly eight years ago now. Hope everything's still rocking up there in Missoula. Is Rock'n Rudy's still in business? How's everybody at Food for Thought? (Is it even there?) And how's the Grizz football team?? ...Well, if I keep going on, I'll run out of space. So, hello to everybody in Missoula, MT, and I wish all of you all the best.
Glaciel Lake Missoula sunk into the ground!!!! haha it actully caused a big flood and eventually flooded into the ocean

Missoula, Montana is a smokey, smelly, depressing town in the middle of nowhere. It's now the favorite spot for old, burned out drug dealers.

missoula valley wasn't carved out by the flood, that's why you can see the water levels on the mountain in the spring
