@porschegt3rsr2004 There are two sets of power coins the rangers use in MMPR. In Season 1 and 2 they use the Dino coins (Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Tigerzord, etc.) Well when Rito destroyed the Thunderzords these coins were damaged, not destroyed. The connection to the morphing grid was so unstable if they used them they could die. Thats why Ninjor, the creator of the coins, gave them new "Ninja" coins ( Frog, Crane, Falcon, etc.) These were the coins that were destroyed, not the Dino coins.
billy is so fucking useless, i know it was made this way to prepare for the zeo rangers make. but omg I'm just gonna stand there and wait for tommy to get the coins that are right by MY feet, instead of oh idk grabbing my power coin using it to morph defend the coins. lol oh billy...
real answer the power coins were destroyed but not the morphing grid which is what supplies all power to all the rangers. So I'm sure it was just a simple remake of the coin or whatever and connect it with the morphing grid.

I think Billy and the other power rangers should have gone to the command center and do it then that way they can be restore to normal then the power coins wouldn't get destory
Was there an explanation why they didn't use the regeneratior at the command center. or for that matter why not retreat there when rito and goldar showed up?
I thought they kept it with them the whole time. Because I remember Kimberly was able to morph into her ninja form while her power coin was with Kat and Rita.

they should have had Tommy use the machine first... he can at least fight without his powers
