@warpig089 genres are a lot more important than you realize. If you talk about scene bands, they're also Metal bands. But would you group the likes of Devil Wears Prada with Slayer or Behemoth? Of course not. Genres keep the lines of metal written, and if you want the metal brotherhood, you need the genres to keep other bands from contaminating your genre. Death metal has a entirely different image and style than thrash, hence, genres.

I don't really listen to this band (So I guess I'm weird to be listening to this song, but a friend sent me here), but the instrumetals are awesome! The vocalist... is okay. I'd imagine it being hard to scream like that for such a long time, but it's a bit... eh.

With them the medium IS the message if you know what I mean.
Crimson Moonlight is Catholic. So is Antestor (which is more like the Norwegian style of Black Metal). I am also a practicing Catholic, but I love Behemoth and Nile and all the other awesome metal bands. Can't get enough of it. I think that Nergal and everyone else is entitled to their opinions and I don't let it bother me. I also respect them more for even having an opinion than those that either don't care or haven't decided on anything. Check out Crimson Moonlight. They are awesome.

It doesnt matter what music they listen to, fact is their music does not belong into an extreme metal setting like behemoth. It is just the behaviour of all those fanboys, thinking they are tough guys, listening to the most evil music on the planet and then facing bands like e.g. behemoth for the first time. first reaction is stating "oh dude, this is way worse than slipknot". See? it just doesnt belong here.

1. Don't bash other metal artists, we need to unite. We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together.
2. Watch more and other metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list
3. Instead of bashing pop, promote metal with logical reasons, not just "METAL RULES!"
