This looks bland as can be. No sesoning beyond salt and pepper? The corgette and butternut squash have no taste. I would have to add chili power or something.
You had a great soup going until you put it in the blender. I don't know why people do this with soups. I like chunks of vegetables in my soup (not too big). I can understand blending some of the vegetables to thicken it up a bit, but not all of it.
I am a Mexican cook and I always said that mexican food was my favorite but sinse I went to Morocco I had a chage of hearts, there is something about the moroccan food that make me change my mind ... ups did I say that ? well thats the truth ... see ya.. and thank you for sharing I will make my oun tajine next week ...
@starryian007 I think she means an herb as cilantro. Moroccans use a combination or parsley and cilantro A LOT! Not the coriander, the spice. She usually goes through the spices afterward :) I'm surprised this recipe didn't have any. Not even cumin or turmeric powder :)
once you boil the butternut squash the skin becomes very tender and you can mix it in the soup. if you dont like the skin you can just scoop the inside of the squash instead.
yeah i have the same jheri curl just like michaels anyway your recipe is just like my moms shes moroccan and syrian [iam currently attending the school of proforming arts to became an actor [movie star] and a comedian my friend and family says i the funniest person on earth]
what happens if you use the whole leek?

The buttersquash is not available where I live. Is there anything else I could use? Pumpkin? Or can I just make it without the squash?

Pumpkin would be great!
