C230 (V6) acceleration

It's too bad that a new dorky Toyo Corolla S will keep up with this car. They look so cool and sporty, but don't have enough balls under the hood to back it up. Unless you get the C280 or C55 AMG.

@mykulc true, i have an 06 c230 like the one here with the 2.5 v6, and its not a sports car at all. but i didnt buy it to be blowing the doors off of other people on the road. even though the toyata will keep up, i still drive a mercedes.

Actually the original c230 came with  two engines, a 1.8 supercharged inline four and a 2.5 liter v6 witch is in the video.

@porsche180 both of those engines were in the C230. previous to the 1.8, there was also the 2.3.

C230 is not a V6. C230 is an inline 4. C240 is a V6.

@2URBO2 the later C230s had a V6 in them. i have a C230 with the supercharged inline 4 but this one in the video is a V6

@Stilini03 The C230 was originally a kompressor engine, inline 4 with a supercharger. The C240 badged C class then changed to the new C230 and it was the 2.6 litre V6 as was previously used in the C240 so you are quite right.

@kingssuck06 ur right about the c230 kompressor, but the regular c230 is actually a 2.5 liter v6 DOHC, aka the m272 engine.

@2URBO2 Its a V6 i own one 06 C230 sport .......But they do come in 4 cylinders with the Kompressor.

it is also an 06. i also have an 02 kompressor with the 6 speed manual. the c class is defenatly a fun car.
