  • Hup! Had the honour of playing with Mr. Donnellan in Peppers' Bar, Feakle. Mighty man and a fine fiddler!

  • Good for you. Hope you can make it to the Feakle Festival this August 6th. Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill will be there.

  • Oh my god thank you for this!! That's me on the left in the white blouse, was dancing all night, but couldn't help sometimes just listening to the. What a magic magic night that was, will never forget it, and I had not idea any of this was up here!! Was just looking for Martin Hayes stuff. I walked on air for a week after that ceili. Thank you thank you!!!

  • Go on Mark Donnellan LEDGEND!!!

  • Thanx, I'm happy you like Mark's fiddle!! He should be listened by more people.

  • ya def he doesn`t get half the recognition he deserves!!:)

  • Yeah, you must b a great fiddler with great sense knowing that!

  • The first jig is very popular called "The Battering Ram."

  • yes, and "tatter jack walsh" which i never hear here in my neck of the woods. looks like a fun night

  • Why was the music so good? Maybe because that's Martin Hayes playing the fiddle!!!

  • Yeah, it's right as a one reason. But other 3 are really superb musicians, just not known as solo musicians (Andrew-Mac is famous & popular though!). I'm sure the quartet is one of the greatest Irish trad units in the world!

Thanx for comment anyway, hope you like it.
