at least in Portal 2 the cubes have no clip when you hold them, and im fairly certain it is impossible.

I do have a request though.. speaking of portal 2.

@ltsjack I imagine I did it the hard way, but I put a portal where the first energy ball hits the wall, and a portal on the vertical surface across from the platform the first energy-ball-catcher you encounter is on. Then I used my adorable companion cube to ricochet the energy sphere into the other two catchers, finishing with the one closest. It took a while, but it worked.
