aww thats cute! i remember my boy. he was only 12 weeks old. border collie/blueheeler. but you couldnt see the the border collie in him. i named him oscar. every body said it was a cats name. but i had to get rd of him because my other boy and him were aggresive with eachother and i didnt want nothing to happen. so i gave him to my cousins dad and he is super amazing. they are training him for a bird dog. and hes doing pretty good. i love him. & i love your dog they look like twins!!! :)
VERY VERY X100 CUTE,WE'VE GOT A 4 MONTH OLD KELPIE/BORDER COLLIE CROSS THAT DOES THAT FRONT DOWN,BUM UP THING AND IT IS VERY CUTE WHEN THEY DO IT,ISN'T IT
My girlfriend wont let me get a red heeler cause she says their mean and to smart for their own good...sucks to be her cause im gettin one anyway ive grown up with ACD's all my life and I know how to handle them she better start learning hahaha
My blue heeler Dusty is about 6 months old and allready bigger then my 8 and 3 year old cavalier king charls spaniel. One of the best dogs i ever had :)
I just got a Blue Heeler a week ago! He's 6 weeks and he is a lots of fun. Actually I just posted a Video of him on my profile, why not check it out! :)
ive got a blue heeler named "skye" she is a cattle dog (blue heeler) that is bred from famous dogs search up turella kennels on interne her parents are there!!!!ULTRA CUTE!!
They absolatly love excersize and ae the best family dogs, great for active familys....as you know BH have tendacy to heel (nip heels) and jump but are really awesome dogs!!!
I just had to take my two blue heelers to the shelter this last wednesday... I am going to college, and my parents can't / dont want to keep them without me around... That was one of the hardest events I have and am ever having to experience... These dogs are more than dogs, they are your friend, your babies... and ur cuddle buddies even.
Our family heeler just passed and he was the first heeler I have ever had. I am a stay at home mom with a 1yr old. He was very protective over us, but friendly when he saw that we were friendly. He followed my son everywhere! He is greatly missed. These dogs are unlike any dog I grew up with. I will always have a heeler in my life..
@MegaPmills So sorry you have lost you pal...hope you feel right to get another one soon...couldnt be without one around once youve had one you are hooked!
Our condolences.. Very sorry to hear that your Heeler has passed... They're wonderful dogs, I would never think of having another breed... Our heeler is getting older and I dread to think that he will one day pass... He's a very strong protector and is kind, great with kids and above all.. Very smart.. He's our kid and we love him very much... In closing, don't worry.. He'll always watch over you :)
I don't agree that these dogs are very aggressive. i would say early socialisation is the key. They learn fast. they only cause problems when they are bored. if you spend the time on them they will reward you for a lifetime. My blue heeler is 9 months old and is getting on well. Even the vet recognises that he has been well socialised and i think that is how we have got off ton the best start.
@shesastar100 I never agreed that they were an aggressive dog, diesel is an alert, protective and intellegent dog who reacts to situations. She has become more and more social as she has got older...she is three now. Best breedof dog I ever owned... couldnt be with out one now...
@shesastar100 i love blue heelers my mother used to breed them and one was very loyal her name was whisper and she was agressive too but her daughter was the sweetest dog u would ever meet
@SluttySockMonkeyTv Just great dogs, thanks for you comments will have tolook up the toy you mentioned although her toy collection is getting a bit out of controll!!
@jake29sc cattle dogs are not "VERY aggressive" i've had Maxi..my cattle dog for 7 yrs now and have never had an aggression issue... how ever, they are naturally a breed that will nip at heels and attempt to'herd' other dogs... Maxi is the most, loyal, affectionate & obedient..not to mention smart breed i have ever encountered..! as an owner of a cattle dog, i will never have another breed again!!
@spinafekt thats exactly what Diesel is like but she is absolutely mellowing as she gets older and plays with strange dogs with no problem now...love her to bits...best dogs ever
These dogs are VERY aggresive, but if you train them, and love them, there by far the best. this looks like my dog nellie when she was a pup, she can jump 6 feet up haha!
@jake92sc I knew when I got her they were feisty, did a lot of reading up on them in the year I waited before I managed to find a good pup. She is unlike any dog I have had before, always had big softies and she really isnt ... I am with her most days 24 hours. She comes to work with me, never gets bored, we walk miles and she is my shadow. She isnt keen on many dogs, I always put her on the lead ...she has her moments lol
Try and get hold a of a book called "The Complete Australian Cattle Dog by John and Mary Holmes" More good sense in there than a lot of dogs I have seen
Yes, i do have a Bluey called Digger. I have lost count of how many plush toys he has "killed" I have found the "Kong" toys seem to last the best
@happybonzo Thank you I have had a look for that book.... My girls granddaddy is a Digger too! Diesel loves to unstuff toys mainly but doesnt entirely savage, still has all the toys on this video and is 3 now!
@happybonzo i dont have a heeler at the moment but i have a beagle and this wacky zingos toys from webkinz is amazing weve had it since we got my dog and she is 3 its not ripped at all and still talks and my dog loves the toys that talk
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is is soooo cute~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we just found a blue heeler about 3 days ago he is probably only 3 months old..........he is soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we dont know whos it is so we r just gonna keep it.....we called around but nobody had lost dogs sooo yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! um........can u give me a tip cause the puppy keep on biting our feet and hands...(like play fight) can u tell me what 2 do so that he stops or something????thx
@CGvidWorld Just swop your hands for some toys, rubber balls are the way to go, he will stop it soon, a stern quiet "no bite" wont do any harm, good luck... what are you gong to call him, thats a young pup to be out and about lost, poor little thing!
Thanks for your comment Diesel is 3 years old now, she is still cute!
WAW!! this mist be the first video with over 50 thumbs up with no dislikes, nice, beautiful dog, i want to but one, black and white, any tips? the one im going to buy is 7 weeks old
She has good markings! Ihave a 10 year old heeler..she's beautiful and smart..but, unfortuatly dying of cancer right now. WE look forward to having another one when she passes. I cant' see myself without a heeler!
@brofun So sorry to hear your girl is so sick, I know I couldnt be without one of these fab creatures in my life either and Diesel has only been with me 2 and a half years, so very special...hope everything goes as well as it can with your old girl...sending (((hugs)))) thanks for your nice comment x
@aitch964 thanks for the sympathy..yes, she's a wonderful companion and so protective! She doesn't even let me and my wife play fight!! if we act like we are fighting, she jumps up and barks and bites whoever is being the agressor! We've had wonderful times with her. She's intuitive..loving..well, you know! thanks and keep posting vids of diesel..it does my heart good.
@brofun you are very welcome, and yes I know exactly the list of words you were going to use to describe your girl, what is she called? There are a good dozen videos of Diesel on my page if you fancy seeing her now she is full grown...just about to put a new one on from the walk we have just been on with her Border Terrier buddy. Catch up with you again. Take care..
@insanemdrummer09 she always has at least 3 toys out and a couple of bones...she is 3 this year but actually still has all those toys on this video. The teddy has no stuffing or a face either...sadly it was cute that!
@tonkanamagarcu Yes it is, great track!! You wouldnt go far wrong getting one of these ...best dog I ever had, she is gorgeous at 2 years old now..very clever and loyal dogs..
I have a red heeler and she is the same way with toys, and learns so easily, best dog I have ever had, hands down. Love her to pieces and I am looking to get a blue one.
@11kharrison .............best dog I have had too, she is 2 now and if possible even cuter!! Thanks for your comment...look forward to seeing your red and blue on you tube maybe :)
@missjumpyx hahaha think you win first prize for best comment of the week, thats exactly whats going on in her puppy head...and she is still the same now! Thank you for a fab comment! :)
@aitch964 Hi, is this a good family dog and does it need LOTS and LOTS of exercise, more than most dogs like I have read on the internet? I really want one though! Thank's for the vid!
@000TQ000 I am no expert, I can only tell you how I find my own dog, from the first day I got her I have taken her to work with me pretty much every day, I walk her a half hour at least in the morning and an hour at least each night, she is a live wire on her walks and calm and sleepy in the house,. If she doesnt get a walk for whatever reason( which is very rare maybe a dozen times in 2 years) she doesnt play up.. they are deeply loyal and expect the same from you too..fabulous dogs!
@000TQ000 I am not the one to talk you out of it, best dog I ever had...she is just near perfect for me...just so fussy about what other dogs she mixes with though...we dont do crowds!
i have a blue heeler pit bull mix, and i know everybody is gonna say something bad bout pits, but truth be told, my pit heeler mix is the sweetest dog iv ever owned, and is so smart if blows my mind, and is a VERY loyal dog, and also very very protective, if somebody even comes into the house, she will just sit there between u and the door showing her teeth, just waitin for me to say that the person comin in the house is ok, then she will be the sweetest dog u have ever seen. nice dog
@ScurdBergerler I am not going to say anything bad about pit bulls check out my staffy video...yours sounds great love to see what she looks like...amazing loyal mix! If my heeler were more loyal or closer when I am out she would have to be sat on my head! sometimes I cannot move for her lol.... thanks for your comment
Aww, so cute! I have a purebread red cattledog named casper that has bred 3 litters, one of them 3 dogs, other 5, and i think the other was 5 again, and 4 of them are now show dogs :)
@CorrosiveMoose thanks for your comment, Diesel comes from show dog background too but sounds like a lot of hard work...left it too late to be carrying on the show life with her.
Great video and beauty of a dog. I have a blue heeler aswell who is 7 this year but she still thinks she is a puppy. We gave her to my uncle because he has a big farm with cattle and my family had little backyard but it's good I still get to see her :)
@legendzackina thank you for your lovely comment, think Diesel will be the forever puppy too...she is two now and is just a bigger version of how she was at nine weeks! Bet yours has a whale of a time with all that space...
@earth2luna Thank you for your lovely comment ...there are a good dozen new and up to date videos of Diesel if you check my page...she is a total film star, What is your heeler called? They are such great companions arent they...:)
Thanks for sharing! Diesel reminds me a lot of my Blue Heeler when she was a pup. This breed is so intelligent and loyal, you can't go wrong with them.
@jamesrosssmith Thanks James, she is a totally loyal and intelligent and 2 years old now, How old is yours? Miss her puppiness sometimes. Enjoyed your music, like Cannonball a lot. Cheers H
I've got a clue heeler mix with deep red markings on her face and paws. Her mask is a little fuller than diesel's and because of her beagle half the tips of her ears fold over. She's smart as hell though. She figured out how to open cages and will herd anything from kids to actual sheep. Heelers are amazing :-)
Hey, where are you from? what breeder did you get her from?
I'm in love with the breed and i was curious as i wanted to get one once i started college, and I know they need a lot of attention and room but im going to be home most of the time im not much of a partier and Since i took a lot of AP classes in highschool im going to be a sophomore going in so ill have shorter (and early) classes so maybe about 1-2 hours a day, and im making sure ill have a big appartment.
@Mariogroup I really couldnt say, Diesels were up from 6 weeks, she sleeps with them up , they have a little life of their own...:) sorry I couldnt be more helpful...
@hm26 Why is that is it a working dog thing, I have read that some are born without tails... I have to say I love her lemur striped tail, be a shame to have lost that.
@hgielah6669 Prepare to be head over heels,,,, they just give you more and more to love everyday... hope you stick some videos on...have fun with your little Diesel!
@aitch964 i will i already started training him to do tricks he's the smartest dog ive ever had and he is definetly getting me in shape haha :) have fun with yours too!
wow we are had a dog like that but stumpy tail smithfield type. She passed away at 13. Now we r getting a new pup same breed tho. A few more weeks hopefully:)
Aww! She's ADD like my Holly :-D lol! Seeing that you posted this a while back, can you tell me if they grow out of pouncing on things? I love it when my dog is running full force like she's trying to KILL the Frisbee, and then right as she comes up to the thing its "frolic frolic POUNCE!" like a cat, other than when she pounces on me, I love it, I hope she doesn't :)
@Jessica87061 she still pounces but in a more grown up way... I will put a video on your channel page to show you what she does now...thanks for your comments Jessica :)
i beleive your heeler is a bently blue heeler.Bently was a guy who bred blue heelers special. You can tell if a blu heeler id a bently by the top of their head.It they have a dot on the top of their head they are a bently.
I have a red one *witch is tecnaiclly no different from a blue* & I love her! She's a great gaurd dog! Though she's a bit nippy when it comes to small kids... Nothing I can't correct though!
their great dogs if your active and take them with you.mine sailed with me kayak with me even went on our jet ski with us-our dog patch loved it all.she passed away two years ago and i still miss her very much
They are VERY intelligent, I have 3 or should I say 3 own me LOL They pick up things very quickly but it is important to remember they need alot of exercise. It's good to play alot with them before teaching them things when there not so full of energy. We taught are Boy Bludo to roll over in less then 5 minutes when he was a Pup. They Love Frisbee do to their herding instincts
@aitch964 we have 11, well but if you split it up, my bro and sis-in-law have 9 and me and my mom have 1 a piece. Lol, yes it is a lot! but 4 were just born 2 weeks ago and are finding homes as soon as they're old enough!
I've bred and worked cattle dogs for much of my life, here in the NT, Australia. You won't find many breeds better, for most things.
Also as a companion, mate, you'll get no better, and as watch dogs, any Aussie will tell you, as good as they get. They will bite, after all, they are natural heelers of cattle.
hey, I've always had border collies but I'm thinking about my next dog being a blue heeler. Do you have a preference ? and which breed do you think is smarter? also, is there a difference between the males and females?
CHILI PEPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@aitch964 Hi, is this a good family dog and does it need LOTS and LOTS of exercise, more than most dogs like I have read on the internet? I really want one though! Thank's for the vid!
000TQ000 1 year ago
@000TQ000 I am no expert, I can only tell you how I find my own dog, from the first day I got her I have taken her to work with me pretty much every day, I walk her a half hour at least in the morning and an hour at least each night, she is a live wire on her walks and calm and sleepy in the house,. If she doesnt get a walk for whatever reason( which is very rare maybe a dozen times in 2 years) she doesnt play up.. they are deeply loyal and expect the same from you too..fabulous dogs!
aitch964 1 year ago
@aitch964 OK thank's for letting me know, I'm denfintely thinking about getting one :)
000TQ000 1 year ago
@000TQ000 I am not the one to talk you out of it, best dog I ever had...she is just near perfect for me...just so fussy about what other dogs she mixes with though...we dont do crowds!

i have a blue heeler pit bull mix, and i know everybody is gonna say something bad bout pits, but truth be told, my pit heeler mix is the sweetest dog iv ever owned, and is so smart if blows my mind, and is a VERY loyal dog, and also very very protective, if somebody even comes into the house, she will just sit there between u and the door showing her teeth, just waitin for me to say that the person comin in the house is ok, then she will be the sweetest dog u have ever seen. nice dog
ScurdBergerler 1 year ago
@ScurdBergerler I am not going to say anything bad about pit bulls check out my staffy video...yours sounds great love to see what she looks like...amazing loyal mix! aitch964 1 year ago
Thanks for sharing! Diesel reminds me a lot of my Blue Heeler when she was a pup. This breed is so intelligent and loyal, you can't go wrong with them.
jamesrosssmith 1 year ago
@jamesrosssmith Thanks James, she is a totally loyal and intelligent and 2 years old now, How old is yours? Miss her puppiness sometimes. Enjoyed your music, like Cannonball a lot. Cheers H
aitch964 1 year ago
@aitch964 Cheers mate. Mine is 6 or 7 now, she still thinks she is a puppy though. She runs and herds with the best of them!
jamesrosssmith 1 year ago

I love it when my dog is running full force like she's trying to KILL the Frisbee, and then right as she comes up to the thing its "frolic frolic POUNCE!" like a cat, other than when she pounces on me, I love it, I hope she doesn't :)

their great dogs if your active and take them with you.mine sailed with me kayak with me even went on our jet ski with us-our dog patch loved it all.she passed away two years ago and i still miss her very much
captjohnmatch56 1 year ago
They are VERY intelligent, I have 3 or should I say 3 own me LOL They pick up things very quickly but it is important to remember they need alot of exercise. It's good to play alot with them before teaching them things when there not so full of energy. We taught are Boy Bludo to roll over in less then 5 minutes when he was a Pup. They Love Frisbee do to their herding instincts

I've bred and worked cattle dogs for much of my life, here in the NT, Australia. You won't find many breeds better, for most things.
Also as a companion, mate, you'll get no better, and as watch dogs, any Aussie will tell you, as good as they get. They will bite, after all, they are natural heelers of cattle.
pittycross 1 year ago
hey, I've always had border collies but I'm thinking about my next dog being a blue heeler. Do you have a preference ? and which breed do you think is smarter? also, is there a difference between the males and females?
