@sjmunoz I thought the same as you since I've found the perfect one. PMDG 737NGX is a lot better than Ariane and have 2D panel as well as VC and very realistic functions. I recommend you to try the PMDG instead of the Ariane.
@pixabrava89 too late, i have the arianne allready since 2 years.
I like the plane and its easy to fly, its only the missing 2d panels that gets on my nerves. I have the 747pmdg though. but the one thats killing me is the flightlab's concordeX. its guide is something like 300 hundred pages !.
this not actually that bad yes it is stupidly expensive and not quite at the level of the ngx or ifly its got a slightly easier learning curve than the ifly and pmdg. if you want bad take a look at AFS A350 and A380 they are a disgrace.
I installed the VRS Superbug a few weeks ago, and I thought it was detailed (which it is) but nothing like this. It almost looks as though a real 737-800 pilot could learn from this thing. I looked it up and the price is close to $120 US. I don't mind spending that kind of $, as long as it works as advertised. I read many bad things about Ariane on the Tube, like poor customer service. Have you had any problems? Please respond, It looks like you know what your doing :) Thx
Firstly nice video.. i commend u for doing what some ppl (like myself havent). Now on to the meat of the matter.... If you were in a real plane and using this method as you start up... we'd all be dead!!! THAT IS ALL!!! ....
For those who wants a idea of how to do it properly.. just go on google and type Wilco 737 checklist...
Ok I fixed my non-start problem for anyone else who is having it. The master battery switch needs to be turned on in the default aircraft before you load the Ariane 737. Turning it on in the overhead panel obviously isnt the same, becuase my 737 is all good now.
@papcrap2 Did u ever find out what was wrong? I'm having the same problem I follow through the procedure, apu running etc but when I switch engine start switch to GRD absolutely nothing happens.
@BananaBrainBrian If the Packs (A/C section in the overhead panel) Is On, you need to set those to Off, also need to have the APU Bleed air On. That may help, but i don't know if Ariane aircrafts simulates that
@bmnnbmnn Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have turned the main APU bleed switch in the centre on and both of the engine bleed switches at either side. Still no movement on engine gauges when set to GRD. I even followed through the complete precedure, setting the IRS etc incase that prevented engines from starting. Feeling a little hard done by, I payed £70 for this so I would no longer be a member of the [CTRL]+E club. Dont understand how it works perfectly in this video, but not for me.
@BananaBrainBrian Hmm.. I'm not completely familiar with Ariane, but the duct pressure should be around 30 psi after switching the Packs Off. Maybe you should try with the fuel cutoff lever to the On (Ctrl + Shift + F4?) position before switching to GRD. I've read about other peoples who have the same problem.
@bmnnbmnn Yeah tried that too, waiting to get onto Ariane forum. Have to say overall im dissapointed so far. It doesnt look as nice as it does in the screenshots. It is all VC, the only 2d panel being the FMC. I like VC but, when flying an approach etc, its handy to be able to bring up a 2D panel for a second. Then theres this problem with my engines not starting manually. And to top it all off I just tried to print the PDF manual only to find it is locked! Where is the sense in that?
@BananaBrainBrian Strange. Well, i'm waiting for the PMDG NGX which is coming now in the end of this year (according PMDG). I'm very impressed with the work PMDG is doing. Well, i hope you get the aircraft to work! Good luck! =)
@bmnnbmnn Yeah, I will probably go for the PDMG too. Before I bought this I was tempted to buy their MD11, but im wanting to famliarise myself with the 737, so im looking forward to that. Any idea when its due for release? Their website just says 2010.
I followed this for my first ever start up worked first time thanks for that then, I tried a 2nd time and it refusses to start I get to the stage were you try and get the engines started by flicking over to GRD nothing happens I have tired it over and over any help would be grate thanks.
@papcrap2 if you follow all of those instructions, the aircraft must run the engines properly. If it doesn't happens, you should be doing something wrong...
@pixabrava89 I really have followed this to the seconds about 7 or 8 times by having this in one window and the fsx in the other I have no idea this is really getting annoying thanks for the reply.
I know this is a stupid question but how do you get the plane to be completely dead when ever I load it up the engines are all ready to go along with allot of the major systems and I don't want that.
than you put the the engine select switch to the R position and then put the engine start switch to GND position..when n2 is 20% turn on the fuel flow..wait for the engine to stabilize (you know its stable when the engine select switch returns to neutral position) ..then repeat the sequence for the left engine :) this is a short version with procedures just before start..
Hey I got a question. Where do you activate "Dark and Cold". What I mean is where do I go and click on dark and cold so that every time I start a flight it will be in a dark and cold mode. Thanks.
@pixabrava89 Anyway i think there's an option in the Ariane menu. Look at the tabs on the top and select the one called Complements and there will be 3 of Ariane.
Before you turn on the battery, what do you do before that so the plane has power to the battery. Do you turn on the GP Unit. Im lost. Something is missing and i dont get power to my AC
i love this plane except the fact that its only VC panels.

El video es muy bueno, pero pq le cuesta tanto al avion alcanzar los 300 nudos por encima de 10000 pies?Dime en que puede estar el fallo.
viacheslav2406 2 years ago

if i click on the seat to hide it, how can i get it back?

On the floor, next to the guides where the seat is anchored, there is a numbered strip. Just click there and the seat will come back.
(you will see this strip at minute 6:53, at the bottom of the screen)
