  • people stare at evolution everyday and still deny it

we are different colors cause we evolved that way

  • Evolution created god.

  • I actually thought that Mike was an ok guy...till this happened.

  • "I believe in ghosts but I don't believe in evolution." Is this guy for real!?

  • I believe in evolution, but I don't think creationists are necesarrily dumb. I happen to think Mike Huckabee is a pretty smart guy and I like his stance on alot of issues, I just think we have more important things going on than the evolution debate.

  • @xtremejohnny69 no they are definitely dumb. at least my definition of dumb. They have the tools and they choose ignorance. Everyone has the time to think! No "christian" will tell you they don't believe in micro evolution if you explain it to them. They couldn't believe in cows or dogs otherwise. They are just in denial lol. God Bless Us ALL!!!

  • 11 year old was smarter than the guy on the bench, Gary I believe.

  • Ha ha, this guy's got guts!

  • God created evolution.

  • actually. the creaionists are pretty good at exposing all the evidence of what evolution is and isnt. and so far it isnt a process of adding new information to the genetic code, it actually takes away information. and as far as im concerned abiogenesis is an open playing field, and the naturalists will go as far as to believe aliens or crystals were responsible just not God.

  • Flowers??? That's the best these morons can come up with? They can't even come up with bacterial flagellum?

That was a real hot spot until dna sequencing helped deduce the steps that it took to evolve.

  • That kid at 2:35 is proof that Christianity in this country is starting to die. I give us about 40 or 50 more years maybe even 20 more years before Americans stop believing.

  • it really bugs me when everyone uses the term "believe in" when asking about evolution..it suggests it is some kind of a religion .. it is not a belief system, it is a branch of science.. no one ever asks ..do you believe in physics..or chemistry.

  • if you want to use fossil records and the layers of the earth as evidence to evolution, then make sure you know the facts. we have discovered human footprints in the cretaceous layer of rock. this is the same layer of rock that contains dinosaur footprints. explain this to me.

  • @psalm34verse8 and Columbus was a lunatic because he didn't think the world was flat. And Copernicus was a jerk for realizing Earth wasn't the center of the solar system after all... Those a-holes shouldn't have questioned those who came before them and should have let us be the way we were. We would have been much better off...

    You're an idiot

  • @caucasianjake ok.......... i don't see how your reply had anything whatsoever to do with my comment. i talked about fossils and you talk about Columbus, but whatever. you still didn't answer my fossil question.

  • Bible is not mine as CtheWolfe says, it was never mine. But what I won't admit in my lifetime is that I am the son of an ape or of a dog. I have a personality that supersedes animals; thats what I believe. I believe what I see. Not what a funny scientist would say. I admit that Sir Newton is a scientist and not Darwin.

If somebody disagrees thats because they are of ape or bitch and not me. thanks and get lost u funny sons and daughters of apes and bitches.

  • @wesleytmatthews Look at you man thinking you are better. Its either we all came from the Great Apes or we all came from Adam and Eve... I would prefer not to think we are all inbred sicks like you want to. I mean how is that preferable. Knowing your ancient incestors(ooops I accidentally inserted the pun to early my bad) Cmon man. And we know from the physics the world is set up on whether God did it or not to be at a set and predictable variable. The days were no longer in the past.

  • @wesleytmatthews I could understand how an uneducated and incestuous person such as yourself (assuming so because you prefer incest over evolution) could see that the days used to be longer than they are now. Perhaps what you are looking at is a shift in season not the actually that the days used to have more time in them. And time is time no matter what scale you measure it on. We use hours but the time is the same you could count it in some abstract way but its still time.

  • @wesleytmatthews "But what I won't admit in my lifetime is that I am the son of an ape or of a dog" - Wesley. No one claims that we came from dogs. You just used this to call me a bitch. Look at you being all uneducated. Its really cute, maybe if my mommy lets me I can keep it as a pet!!! omg. I could teach it so much about the world. I mean so much has happened since the bronze age. So much we have learned. I wonder if it knows the world is not flat, nor the center of the universe???

  • @wesleytmatthews You really think you are better than me because you refuse to look at evidence that proves you are not of an incestuous family? That you have not bothered to look at the fossil charts, that you think some of us believe we came from dogs(really are you that thick?) And then you tell anyone who questions you to get lost because they are funny sons of bitches and apes? really? Grow up you pathetic uneducated little worm. Clearly you are a less evolved form of ape than I.

  • it is very hard to believe and even teach a billion year old world; it was never proved; it maybe in the future...lots more has yet to be proven; so its better not to jump to any conclusions if you are a science student.

  • @wesleytmatthews Wow that was stupid "it is very hard to believe and even teach a billion year old world; it was never proved; it maybe in the future...lots more has yet to be proven" Ever heard of carbon dating buddy? Ever heard of anthropology? paleontology? All things that confirm a world far older than than what your bible would say.

  • @CtheWolfe it would not be hard to believe that you are of an ape and I of man. I am serious. It should be because you are damn serious about your ancestors and I too am about mine.

  • @wesleytmatthews Lol Really? REALLLY? Have you seen any of the evolutionary fossils from the Great Apes that branch out into most of our Monkeys, Apes, Homo Sapien etc? You think all the intermediate fossils are fake? or just don't matter? Look at your false sense of pride. "I am too serious about my ancestors to have descended from apes" You would rather have descended from an inbred family known as Adam and Eve? really? So that means you got alot of Brother-uncles out there hey?

  • Maybe you came from apes,, Im a child of Adam and Eve. Mike Huckabee maybe President some day, Youll still be just a loser. He's the dummy??? hahahah your the joke

  • @scubaman44406 "Maybe you came from apes,, Im a child of Adam and Eve." - scubaman Incest is best!

  • We see here the usual claim that we did not evolve from apes or monkeys, instead we evolved from a common ancestor. Actually we did not evolve from any of the present species of apes, but we have common ancestors and the most recent of those common ancestors was an ape. So yes we did evolve from an ape. The same is true of monkeys, so we did evolve from a monkey but not the present species.

  • The summary on Wikipedia is an accurate representation of evolution.

If you want to bitch about the source how about researching it on another site or read a fucking book about it!!!!

Don't just come on youtube making bullshit claims about evolution not being true when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about!!!

  • @knobcheese22

Thanks for setting me straight. However, you still haven't answered my questions. Pointing me to wikipedia isn't a logical argument to my question.

  • I did answer your fucking question!!!!

"If we evolved from monkeys, isn't it possible for more species of monkey/ape to evolve into other beings similar to humans?"

First of all we didn't evolve from monkeys, we evolved from a common ancestor that we share with chimpanzees!!!!!!

Evolution doesn't just happen in front of you it occurs over millions of years, that is why apes are still apes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @knobcheese22

Oh I see. You have this all figured out. Cool, man. I guess you know all of this because you must have been there?

Do you realize that science is NOT perfect? With that idea, there is a possibility that your theory is wrong as to where we came from. There is no way to prove that there was such as being as you suggest. You are only going by what somebody else is telling you. Call it faith if you will.

  • I'm not going by what someone else is telling me I am accepting the evidence that they provide (such as the thousands of transitional fossils that have been discovered) and it makes sense. That is the difference between evolution and creation, creation says that a "god" created the world and provides no evidence to justify it's claims!!!!

I guess believing in gravity is faith as well, or believing that Pluto exists?

We haven't been to Pluto how do we know that exists? Ignorant fool!

  • @knobcheese22

You do realize that the fossil record is not entirely accurate, right?

  • *Sigh* I didn't realize you were a scientist!

Your brain obviously isn't capable of a rational thought or excepting science that has been a known fact for years now, hence why it is taught in school!!!!

  • @googla12

You do realize it is impossible to have a perfect fossil record, and that all the fossils we have are a direct gift from G-d?

  • @smartwarlord A direct gift from god? How are fossils a gift from God? I mean did God just say "He he watch this Gabriel I'm totally going to fuck with these guys and put crazy bones in the ground! They will be so dumbfounded because the world is really only 6000 years old! Stupid humans"

  • @CtheWolfe

Torah tells us that the days were extremely long periods of time. Even 1800 years ago in Talmud we get this same understanding. It was never understood by Jews to have been "24 hour periods", that absurd notion was invented by Greek-speaking Christians. We do not need fossils, either to reconstruct past life, or to prove evolution - because of this, they are a gift.

  • YOU LOOKING LIKE A FOO IN DAT DINOSAUR SUIT

  • Explain flowers??? WTF?

    Who CAN'T explain flowers?????

  • @jib1000 jesus can't

  • @BrendanIsCool lol i guess not. Just one more situation where jesus leaves us lacking.

  • how embarrassing

  • ^ atheism at it's best ^

I also love how people say the fossil records supports evolution (circular reasoning).

  • @BTek4 ARE YOU INSANE?

  • You can't, can you? You can't explain flowers! You guys suck, dinosaurs never existed, flowers are pretty cos god wanted to give us something nice to look at, and teaching evolution in schools is one logical step short of adopting Shariah in the west and building statues to Hitler!!

  • Flowers: Through evolution, and gradual mutations flowers with brightly colored petals and scents developed. These flowers survive better because the colors and scents attract bees and other critters, which pollinate other flowers. I can't believe that we are the only country so stupid that our leaders don't believe in evolution.

  • @TheAlebandro Does he think flowers have no function other than just being pretty? Some flowering plants are completely dependent on bees to reproduce and in some areas where bees are dissapearing the flowers are too.

  • @TheAlebandro dumbass, it's not the flowers that need to survive, but the bees. It's the bees that are, according to evolution, supposed to adapt to the flowers not the flowers adapting to bees.

  • I agree with the dinosaur on evolution.

I just wish that this had been a funny video.

  • This guy is great. "Evolution is a fact of life Gary"... "I don't think so Chip" HAHA Gary is a dumb ass.

  • @AmericanCritiquer Isn't evolution a theory? Theory means it's not a fact, right?

  • @abeismain From my understanding, evolution can be considered both a fact and/or a theory. There are millions of individual facts supporting the fact of evolution but it's so complex that we, or scientists, use "theory" to test and interpret those facts.

In order for a hypothesis or idea to become a theory it has to have falsifiability; which means theoretically it's possible to prove it wrong.

After 150+years evolution has only gotten stronger as a theory with more and more facts supporting it.

  • What a jack ass. Huckabee needs to go back to middle school and learn a thing or two about biology.

  • Not only is Huckabee a Creationist but he tries to hide/dance around the issue because he knows it makes him look like an ignorant kook to anyone outside the Bible Belt.

  • moron... no life

  • Maybe if you believed in some kind of higher power, then maybe you would be making a complete ass of yourself in a reject Barney suit. Get a life you left wing dumbass. I am a Republican, a Christan, and I to believe in Evolution. It is Huckabees opinion. Not mine, not yours. Do you think each and every person is going to have the same opinion as you? Wake up and lay off the drugs.

  • by the whay WHYYYYYYY??? do this

  • mike huckabe is a dumbas he freed a rapist and a murderer

  • that black man is stupid

  • Evolution and Christianity are only incompatible if you you believe the literal word of a document written by apostles whose knowledge of the world encompassed about a 500-mile radius and at a time when education was essentially non-existent and lifespans about 35 years.

A broader interpretation leaves room for a God that created the entire universe over a very long period of time.

But, hell, it don't matter what the religion is as long as it doesn't condemn others'

    beliefs.

  • Republicans are stupid, its a fact.

  • Honestly how is believing in evolution or not going to make a damn difference weather someone will be a good political leader? I know people who honestly believe in aliens and stand to be good law abiding individuals, who can sympathize or empathize with your next door Ethiopian.

Children of the world, believe what you may about evolution, it doesn't make you a better or worst individual. As long as you work hard and do things for the benefit of yourself, your family and your neighbors.

  • I don't know the context that Huckabee was speaking. I am sure he was talking about not believing in man evolving from monkeys or life starting from nothing.

There IS evolution, in which a species will adapt to certain situations. However, man evolving from monkeys is a pill that is hard to swallow.

By the way, the red dinosaur is a moron. Show us the whole context of the video before you make your idiotic point.

  • "However, man evolving from monkeys is a pill that is hard to swallow"

No it isn't do some fucking research!!!

Humans and apes share 98% the same DNA!!!!

Apes are very similar to humans in appearance!!!!

And apes did not give birth to a human, humans and monkeys both evolved form a common ancestor!!!!!

Gee that is really hard to believe (sarcasm), evolution is FACT deal with it!!!!

  • @knobcheese22

If we evolved from monkeys, isn't it possible for more species of monkey/ape to evolve into other beings similar to humans? Why hasn't it happened? Just because we share similar characteristics to an animal doesn't mean we evolved from it.

Birds share similar characteristics to dinosaur, did birds evolve from dinosaurs?

  • *Sigh* Please read up on evolution before you ask a question tha been answered so many times already!!!!

Evolution occurs over millions of years, it doesn't just occur in like a couple hundred years or so!!!!!

Read the page on evolution at Wikipedia it is a good summary of how evolution occurs

  • @knobcheese22

Wow, you are using wikipedia as your source material. Well, that says it all. Good Job.

  • @googla12

    1. We did not evolve from monkeys, no one claims this.

    2. It's theoretically possible that one of the other Great Apes could become sentient.

    3. It has not happened, because G-d did not decree it to pass. We are his prized products of evolution, and the champions of a primate family.

    4. Our relationship to chimpanzees & Bonobos is that of first-cousins, our ancestors are their ancestors.

    5. Yes, bird species do have dinosaur ancestors. However, they did not "evolve from" dinosaurs.

  • I am an atheist. I acknowledge the reality of evolution. However, whether or not a political figure believes in evolution is not my deciding factor when voting for him. Acknowledging evolution doesn't revive the economy, and it doesn't put dollars back in my pocket.

  • IDIOT

  • This video illustrates clearly the problem when the LOUD voices of people with incomplete knowledge drowns out the voices of clear reason.

  • You are the one who is acting idiotic..science has a lot of dating methods that are far from proven that they take as gospel. So the concusions they arrrive at are based on faulty assumptions along the way. It is not like science has not lied to us before about the missing links...

  • A. Carbon 14 dating is not debated by anyone in the scientific community.

    B. Predication on reliable methods are in no way faulty.

    C. Missing links have been fabricated to fit people's means, true. But that does not discredit the 100's of transitional fossils. If you are looking for anyhing outside of the "missing links" that we have provided then you do not understand science or the theory of evolution.

  • I belive in the purple pigent god, he created the world in 4 days, so he is better than the christian god. Why dont we all belive in him?

  • sorry to burst your ego bubble of corsair

  • It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954)

  • Just to finish this, it doesn't matter if he believed or not, he would've still been wrong. If you want a smart person who believed go for Sir newton. He was without any shadow of a doubt a believer.

  • and you trying to speak reasonably is not so reasonable, your saying other opinions are not correct & yours is.

that's not reasonable, A reasonable person would accept people may have different beliefs dinosaur man

  • those beliefs are not reasonable to have. The reason they are not reasonable is because they are lacking in reason and logic. it's highly unlikely evolution could be wrong but even if it were we have no alternative atm.

  • 'I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings.' This harmony arises from a Wave Structure of Matter in Space (we are all interconnected in this space that we all commonly experience). This unity of reality is central to all major world religions, thus their common moral foundation of 'Do unto others as to thyself' as the other is part of the self.

    albert einstein

  • You need to look up spinoza's god. Hell I believe in Spinoza's god. I just call it the natural world.

  • which is still a divine life force outside of the material world. Doesn't mean he has to be some man with a beard up in the clouds. Spinoza is still a form of GOD. Which Einstein firmly believed in.

anyways you say he didn't believe in god. i proved you wrong whatever your definition of god is i believe in Spinoza & so did Einstein so yes. he believed in god or a form of god.

    in ya face charlie murpppphhhhayyy

  • "which is still a divine life force outside of the material world "

As far as i recall, Spinoza was on monism, so that is contradictory with that stament.

  • spinzo is still an arcitiple god form.

    which einstein believed in.

so my point is clearly proven einstein believed in a greater force which some refer to as god or Spinoza or Quetzalcoatl whatever you want to call it the great spirit.

he believed there is more behind just science.

You are just stretching the definitions to fit with yours, you are also using Einstein as an authority car (wich is a common fallacy in argumentation), also you are doing one thing that disgusted Eisntein when he was alive, using him on arguments that involves the word "god".

  • "The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this. These subtilised interpretations are highly manifold according to their nature and have almost nothing to do with the original text....

    (cont)

  • For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything 'chosen' about them.

    Einstein.

  • Gash i regret falling to your level, but i hope that will stop you from quotemining Einstein to favor your position.

  • A. I think the word you are looking for is archetypal.

    B. Einstien was not a theist, he was a naturalist and the spirit of naturalism is clear in his writings and quotes, unless you take them out of context.

    C. This is a fallacy of equivocation, it uses the word spirit in one meaning when the meaning in each have quite a different meaning intended.

  • Negative. If you read Einstein, or his statements on religion, you would realize Einstein believed in god in a purely pantheistic view.

  • its one mans theory once again. people thought it was highly unlikely that the earth was round. that is your OPINION or THEORY. look up the definition of a theory & try to grasp why evolution is still.. a theory.

  • evolution is a theory.

every ancient culture states WE humans were PUT on the earth. we are not apes.

also biological responses have nothing to do with the theory of evolution.

    science only goes so far

even Einstein says that all science has done has proven him that there is god

  • Einstein, the adult made it abundantly clear that he DID NOT believe in God. Do not soil his name with your lack of understanding of science.

  • thats absolutely false go do some research my friend.

just because he was a scientist does not mean he did not believe in god. all his research pointed him towards the direction that there has to be a god. look it up.

God may be subtle, but he isn't plain mean. -- Albert Einstein

Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish.-

    Albert Einstein

  • It is not a GOD, I could call a pen God and believe in it, but any rational person wouldn't say I believe in God. In this instant it is simply a personification of nature. More over he didn't ''firmly'' believe in it. A word that can mean anything to anyone means nothing to no-one. You can expand the definition all you like till we all beleive in a god, but what people believe doesn't change. He did not believe in a personal god such as the one in the bible.

  • Darwin, My Life and Letters Vol. 1, page 210, admits

"Not one change of species into another is on record. We cannot prove that a single species has changed.'

  • fail

  • Religion is about "not questioning"? It implies intellectual stultification?

How many of the great universities of Europe were NOT founded as church institutions?

  • I know that this is a joke. But all this sort of thing can do is to put people off.

If you want to help change the dialog, send a contribution to the National Center for Science Education.

Anyone who finds himself debating creationists on a regular basis should check out their website. They have some very good information on how to respond to their questions.

  • America is retarted. 50% of humanity is retarted. most people seem fine, but every sunday, they get reminded of a 6,000 year old earth, and their iq drops to 55

  • not true. there are plenty of old earth creationists. you're generalizing that all Christians believe the earth is 6,000 years old

  • nice job!! i love you! evolutionist!!

  • You guys need to Read "Surprise Witness," "The Discovery that's Toppling Evolution," or "Dead Men's Secrets" all by archaeologist Jonathan Gray. Get the real facts on just how lied we've been to. The Smithsonian has hid so much from you. But they can't hide it all, and that's exactly what these books cover. Want REAL SCIENCE? Read these books. Then there's no excuse for ignorance and denial.

  • Most university graduates have acquired their degrees through this system. They now find their careers, their reputations and their very livelihood at risk, should they admit publicly that what they have been teaching is a big mistake. Many who have renounced the theory of evolution have not only lost funding for their projects, they have also been misrepresented, ridiculed and fired. And much of their research has then been destroyed. Examples of such treatment could fill volumes.

  • stop merging church and state...go back to chewing on your slimjim lol

  • christians are the real commies..read the crap in the bible

  • Wait a minute, you can not film? you gotta have permit to film on Thursday?

  • This guy posted an entire video to defend what's not in debate. That's Micro evolution. The bacteria hasn't changed into an insect it's still bacteria. An example of Macro evolution is what we are searching for!

Novices, please stop using the bacteria argument it's not evidence of macro.

  • damn! 50%???? great, and these are the dumb fucks who have the most babies. fuck!

  • Bacteria getting resistant is evolution? Bacteria getting resistant is because it lost information, it did not gain, it won't help make it change into a human. And after all> with what did we start? Bacteria. With what did we end? Bacteria..It's amazing how people know almost nothing about scienc. Go get a science book and stop reading pokemonish fairytales. Go ahead, gimme thumbs down and reply to me. I won't respond. It won't change the fact that there is no proof for evolution...

  • LMAO, "It's amazing how people know almost nothing about scienc."

That's great from someone who obviously knows nothing about science.

  • It's amazing that you show a child who seems more perspicacious and wiser than all the adults around her. She actually GETS it!

  • great stuff!

  • I'm tired of people using the 'it must have been God' line to fill the gaps in current knowledge. By all means reject the theory with most evidential proof and logic if you want, but to say it can't be possible because it doesn't explain everything is ridiculous. Of course there are still things we don't know, but hence we keep investigating, testing and finding things out to improve what we know. Blind, dogged adherence to a catch all explanation is not what I'd call a satisfactory theory...

  • kudo`s... i get tired of it as well! its the easy way out.. most conservative christians (or other religions) dont look at the evidence in the first place... how can we make them see ``the light``? its probably only time we need.. these ideas of evolution and finding dna etc haven`t been around long enough (a few centuries will do the trick), only time and education is what we need...

  • Hear! Hear!

  • I think it's so amazing at why this is even up for debate. Evolution is factual, why are so many people afraid of it? I'm just curious as to why is there that angry factor??? Is it the fear of.."this is it?" Good job Brent

  • The Evolution vs. Creationism debate is ridiculous. Let people believe what they want. I don't believe in Evolution because it's been forced and shoved at me since I can remember. I don't believe in Literal Creationism either. Most Churchs openly state that either is fine: Creation is not the point of the Bible. It's this: Love those who are oppressed, those who haven't been given mercy, love those who are not yet loved by mankind. Go gave man knowledge, do as you will with it for the good of us

  • You evolutionists believe that there was a big bang? Then what made it go BOOMMMM? Its like saying "I am going to leave my garage for 2000 years and when I come back theres gonna be a car in there" Does that make any sence? I do notttt think so.

Charles Darwin himself said " To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree" Even Darwin ended up using his brain. Maybe all of you should too. :)

  • 1. Evolution has nothing to do with the big bang. That's astronomy, not biology.

    2. That's not evolution. It's absurd. Car parts don't mate.

    3. Good start, now finish reading. Darwin goes on to talk about how it must have taken small steps, then also goes on to proclaim how he can't see how a loving god would make parasites.

  • uhhmmm, how about you just get educated on the subject, and stop asking stupid questions.

  • LOL!!! Good Job, its sad that its had to come to this

  • lol. 1:05: "Bacteria evolved..." Thats called micro evolution. Bacteria still remains to be bacteria; it will never evolve into anything else excpet another form of bacteria.

  • So you admit evolution happens. Excellent. Oh, wait, the macro and micro thing. Yeah, that's like saying "2+3 equals 5, but 5*5 will never equal 25!" Wait, you probably don't understand that analogy at all... 2 is random mutation. 3 is natural selection. 5 is your "micro" evolution and 25 is your "macro" evolution... which makes no odds ANYWAY because "micro-" and "macro-" evolution are concepts created by creationists.

  • Mutations happen. A turtle might have two heads, a chicken may have three legs, or a cow might have an extra hoof. In other words, a mutation is nothing more than a duplicate of something that an animal already has; of something that it's DNA is already made to produce. Natural selection is no better. All that does is remove bad traits with better ones; ie the birds that Darwin saw. Some had larger beaks then the other birds due to its enviorment, but they still remained to be birds.

  • Incorrect. You fail. The ability to digest nylon is a mutation. Bacteria with this mutation can survive in a greater amount of areas. Natural selection ensures that there are more of them in these areas. This is evolution. Now repeat it a bajillion times. It's THAT SIMPLE.

  • yup, thats my point. It remains a bacteria; just like those birds that Darwin observed. The beaks changed but they remained to be birds. A change within a species is far different then the belief life came from a primordial soup.

  • But that wasn't your point. Your point was that it never happens. The changes happen, and you even accede they happen. Those changes can create new species within TWO GENERATIONS. What's wrong with fifty generations making something even newer than that? If you refuse to understand that lots of small changes can add up to big changes, then you're being willingly ignorant -like I said above, it's like denying that 1+1+1+1+1+1+1=7.

  • Come on Angry Dinosaur. Pull it together. You could have actually engaged in an intellectually rigorous debate with some of these people. Instead, you just accuse them of being non-intellectual, and then spend the rest of the time expressing your disgust, but not actually being intellectual yourself. The creationists actually DO have scientific evidence to support their arguments. To engage in debate, you have to actually STUDY these arguments so you can refute them scientifically. xo, jb

  • No. No, they don't. That's why scientists aren't listening to them. Creationists had their chance in Dover, and three of them decided not to show up and the rest were blown out of the water, and the entire thing was mediated by a conservative Christian judge!

  • JUMPMONKEY: I think creationists are almost retarded, but I also think that when we (evolutionists) start disregarding everything they (creationists) say just because they are creationists, then we are bordering on dogmatic, which makes us just as non-intellectual. When someone says, "Hey, even Charles Darwin says that the flower is a mystery", then Angry Dinosaur should give a response that is logical and scientific rather than reactionary. Especially because there IS a response.

  • This is true. He should have brought up the link between angiosperms and gymnosperms and Archaefructus, Amborella, and plants like Welwitschia.

  • Now, can you explain this comment in simple terms, or do you even know what you are saying? I don/t have a clue what that is, because I never took the Atheist course on psycho-babbling (using big words to impress people).

    P.S: Psycho-babbling is a word I made up.

  • It's pretty easy. We live in the information age. Information is free and easy. It's mind-boggingly easy to, if you don't know what a word is, look it up in the interwebs - but I'm gonna tell you just to be nice: Archaefructus is one of the first flowering plants, it's related to gymnosperms (that's ferns and other, similar, spore-makey plants) - Welwitschia is a surviving member of the gymnosperm group that is most closely related to flowers.

  • Amborella, on the other hand, is effectively a living fossil - almost a transitional form between angiosperms (flowers) and gymnosperms (mentioned above).

  • "Kids i Love You" your really wierd and i

----------------- think that this video needs to be taken off for wierdism P.S. evolution is fake!

  • Dinosaur man, why are you an adult luring young children to your video by addressing them directly and enticing them with a dinosaur costume? Not appropriate! Is it because young children have impressionable minds that are easier to manipulate. If you want to argue evolution do it with adults.

  • Are you upset because an 11 year old just explained one way to read the geologic column? Did she make you feel like you had a small brain willy?

  • Not believing in evolution is not so much evidence of stupidity as of fear. The problem is literal belief in "sacred" words that have been translated multiple times over thousands of years (which, come to think if it, IS stupidity), but moreso the FEAR of disobeying the jealous God these people have been raised to believe in. I am deeply religious yet have no problem whatsoever reconciling that with evolution. It's just easier to believe the simple explanation of anything.

  • barbmd1 ;o)..

  • America should not support evolution. So many things that they state in the textbooks are seriously lacking in scientific evidence. Oh and life just appeared from knowhere...RRIIGGHHTT. The only people that truly beleive in evolution are those who suck up everything there told by the mainstream media, their parents and their teachers without actually doing any research.

  • "The only people that truly beleive in evolution are..."

Considering "mainstream media" is scientifically illiterate, the fact that both of my parents are deny it, and the years of independent research I would say I defy this statement. As for America should not support evolution... wow... what do you say to something so... retarded?

  • To those attaching D-man: God bless you if you have religion, but please keep it where it belongs... in your soul. When you start challenging evolution or bringing religion into government, you step way over the line and you provoke justified satire. Thanks D-man for a light-hearted, funny spoof. It's better than the rants from either side of the issue.

  • Interesting "spiritual" insight from an elder :o).. Therefore proving "Older & wiser are not alway united, sometimes they travel alone" ;o)..

  • You and Darwin (oops!... you might need a shovel) should go start a "Think Tank" ;o).. Call it "In Darwin I trust" :o)..

....or maybe "I'm the Transitional Fossil". ...You're Mensa material!!! ;o)..

  • I think Christians (including Huckabee) believe in natural selection, just not speciation. Scientific theories are in a constant state of flux. Just 200 years ago, scientists thought life arose from spontaneous generation and ridiculed anyone who questioned the belief. Now that laughable theory has been scrapped. Paradigm shifts in science happen all the time. The current scientific community may see evolution as the best abiogenesis model but in another century, that could very well change.

  • By the way, when you mock believers of creationism, you are mocking 80% of Americans who claim to be Christians, as well as the 5 billion people in the world who believe in a creator.

  • Evolution is not an explanation for abiogenesis. Evolution is an explanation of diversity.

  • morons of the world unite... under Huckabee... duuuuuuuuuuu

  • "Hey Keds, I Lahve you!"

    CHEEEEEEEEEEZY!!!!!!

You have our attention: don't be like you!

  • Those who has a monkey as his ancstor is always stupid from human perspective.

    Go Huckabee!!!

  • hey Dinosaur....im a dentist...and I DONT BELIEVE in stupid evolution....its people like u without religion who want to know where u got here from! Go get a life Dinosaur man!!!

    GO GO Huckabee

  • I don't believe in evolution...and I'm not an idiot...I have 9 years of college (biology) and post grad education.

  • Really really funny, loved it!

  • Good job man, that was hilarious. Keep up the good work , awesome!
