  • I have old Cobra RD-302 at home. Is this useful nowadays? lol

    BTW. I'm from Croatia

  • Yea, in NZ you could try it on to reduce the false Ka's from Cobras etc

  • cool as , thanks heaps.

  • have just sold me STi due to the fact that it wont detect our new digital mobile speed camera here in new zealand untill your parked rite next to the unit ,absolut crap, there running on avery low powered K band frequency 24.085GHz.

now own a Valentine1 (v3.872) and yeah its workin a treat . getting good detection at least 300-400 metres .

    big ups to valentine Co.

not liking the false KA reading from other detectors. bout the only fault i have with the unit

  • Yea, the Valentine kicks arse.

Have you tried enabling the junk out Ka feature in the menu?

  • this would mean doing what to enable

  • go to the V1 website

    Click on Specs

Click on How to reprogram V1

    Look at option 6

  • thank you for ya help , will give it a go.

im asumming i would have the guard on, where as in your tutorial vid for V1 you have stated OFF?.

  • valtine one bad ass radar dectecter

  • I have narrowed it down to the V1 or the STI driver, I been seeing that the STI has better Immunity against RDD's any ideas about this??

  • if you live in WA mate dont go near a bloody STi unless you have the extra coin to go for Sti-R, a lot of people have asked me why their STi doesnt pick them up on the rear facing set-ups, its because they arent designed for WA's cameras, Sti-R with mroe advanced software makes all the difference.

V1 awesome arrows feature awesome k band, laser and ka warning, best facing warning and adequate rear facing warning 250-100metres depending on the position of camera

  • Sti is fine if they dont use photo radar too often in your area like the Multanova's 6F, 9F, also immune to Spectre +VG so if you think they are going to make them illegal buy a sti

  • looking for the very best detector lazer and radar - what should i get?

  • Portable - Valentine One

    Installed - Escort 9500ci

  • go out and buy a valentine 1 I have one and it's great keep bosting these videos I love reading the comments I like to see how LEO's see this and get pissed off. great vid

  • what radar is the best buy???

  • the one straight from F16

  • i wanna hook it up on my motorcycle the valentine thing that is a good idea

  • The other 1 arent even turn on..

  • ....ummm......yes, you don't test radar detectors with more than one switched on at the same time because they interfere with one another. Do some homework before posting dumb comments like that.

  • bloody great mate, thats what iam buying this week..time for my rx65 to go to sleep even though it saved me lots...valentine 1 you gone be mine dude....

  • holy crap that thing is a beast

  • yep i have one i wanna hook it up on my motorcycle

  • hey mate ,one thing i noticed is if you had it set on the mute mode up to level 4 then you would only have had about 10 meters if that to break.

  • I'm not 100% sure what you're saying.

Are you talking about the automatic muting until you get to 4 LEDs on the signal strength? If this is what you are referring to then no, because the muting relates to K-band only. The multanova 6F shown works on 34.3GHz (Ka-band).

Ka band and laser always alert at full volume, regardless of the K-band automatic muting.

  • yeah i was refering to the signal strength. Yes my mistake i didnt realise the mute only mutes the K-band. K-band is that the in-car radars?

  • Depends on your location.

K-band is used by speed cameras in QLD and Vic (Australia)

**edit, just seen you're in Aus too)**

OK in WA Kustom Eagles (K-band) is used on dash mounted HWP cars. You **may** find an old Kustom Falcon K-band hand-held radar used in a remote town in the country but all hand helds these days in the city are laser - LTI Ultralyte LR's or compacts.

  • nice..

  • which brand was that detector that keep beeping?

  • This run, it was the Valentine One that was being tested
