yah i am actually doing mine myself for the 5th time. i had many surgeries in my past so i had to keep taking it out.

i wont have to now. but its been so long since i have done it. i am a baby since i got older. so i am somewhat stalling. just watching videos to make sure i am getting it in the right spot. little scared to mess it up and have to do it again.

i personally prefer a tattoo. i dont like the though of a needle going through my skin.

that and i dont think tattoos hurt that much.

I am going to hazard a guess that yes it hurt, its a needle going through the skin. If you are scared check with local parlors, some may be able to use ice or a topical anesthetic to numb the skin.

At least its fast, unlike a tattoo.

No i didnt think it hurt, but i have a pretty good pain tolerance when it comes to piercings. I love mine, it hurt for about a month then i was fine. Just keep it really clean because it likes to get infected a lot.

here I will reassure you guys...It doesn't hurt at all whatsoever unless it gets infected or pulled...the piercing itself hurts way less then even a ear piercing. If you want to do it you should do!! It's totally worth everything.

IM 15 and i got mine pierced several months ago. I can take pain pretty well. I remember it hurting afterwards, but only for about 1 week to 2 weeks and it hurt like crazy to wash it. Using liquid orange dial antibacterial soap is the BEST thing to clean it with. Avoid wearing tight clothing at first. Now mine is perfectly fine and i snag it on my clothes every now and then but it doesnt hurt. I love it! I recommend it for someone a little older who's responsible cuz they get infected easy.

i just got mine done earlier today and it didn't really hurt. I dont handle pain well but it was just a pinch and it doesn't hurt at all now. For anyone who's wondering, wait probly a couple months before swimming in anything(pool, lake, ect.)clean it 2-3 times a day, I've heard that polysporin is bad for it but it's not, it helps it heal, and you can mix about 1/4 tsp of natural sea salt(no specific brand) in a shot glass of warm water and hold it on your pericing for 10-15 minutes to clean it

and i think people need to face the facts that your having a sharp needle put through your tissue its going to hurt.

It was a strong ripping pain that lasted a few seconds, and then it hurts for a few seconds more when the needle is changed over with the jewelery, its not unbareable pain and if you want it done youll have to deal with it. 5 hours on and its not sore at all!
