Thanks Man.... For people doing this... Make sure you have the most recent itunes... 7.7 and up.... Also you need the Bootloaders 39 and 46 !! when you get to the point where your screen is all white and an debug message pops up just move on to the next step which is going into itunes!! Work Good!

Lemme just clear one issue up for people using the iPod Touch [ 1g ]... The restore issue is not because his restore file is corrupted, BUT it IS because that restore file is NOT "iPod Touch software". If you are the unlucky victim of "The "ipod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1/5)", it's because the restore makes your iPod touch thinks its an iPhone and will refuse to work. Go grab iPod touch software, and try again. ^__^ - Was a temporary victim -Nice tutorial, man!

when i get to the end my winpwn it also closes but since my phone was still with a white screen in recovery mode i opened my itunes and installed the firmware. But now my phone wont accept any simcard i tryed my and my friends sim. i try it on other phones and the sim works fine. where the signle bars are says no service. what did i do wrong. my iphone was a 3g with 2.2 firmware.
