my husband and i were at this concert. it was hilarious! he DID say get a fuckin' screwdriver! Not only that, but Elton was so pissed off that his pedal was stuck that he proceeded to walk offstage for a few minutes, leaving poor Billy by himself to entertain the crowd. He was great - did a whole impromptu medley of patriotic songs in honor of the DC venue! This was the best concert I've ever been to by far, even with the "Rock n' roll fuck up" (as proclaimed by Billy Joel). Too funny!
