It's nice to hear strong vocals on these acapella songs. Usually the arrangements are good and the group as a whole is strong, but the leads are weak and hurt the song. These guys are all great! It's definitely one of the best cuts on the CD next to Not the Same and Effington.

To be completely honest, I like this version better than the one that's on the CD. The group sounds amazing in both, but I think being able to see you sing is a huge bonus.

My high school is doing your arraingment of this at our concert tonight. We aren't usually an acappella choir so it was nice to try something new with this great. We used your video a ton to help us out. The main difference that we did from yours was the part written as ben folds was sung by our 3 soprano ones and the Regina Spector part was sung by our 3 tenor ones. It adds a different style to the song but I think it acutally works.

Actually, that's not correct. We didn't lip synch this. It was recorded right into the microphone that's in the shot the entire time. This version is actually a few clicks faster than the one on the CD... partly because we rush a little bit in places. The CD version is a little more laid back. Also, better quality... with better mics... etc... no lip synching that'd be silly. Thanks for listening though!! I'm glad you think it's kick ass. :)

To those who like Regina Spektor:

Look, there is no accounting for taste, people just like what they like. However, there is no subjectivity when it comes to hitting a note (let alone holding it), singing a note with force, being able to clearly sing and hold a wide range, etc. Regina is not a gifted singer because she lacks those talents. You might still like her music and style, but she is not good at the fundamentals of singing. She is quirky, and some people like her quirkiness.
